We found sessions as a breathe of hope and innovative tools in the area of videoconferencing white label technology and a great investment for the future , all that is blown out today with the important accouncement email sent by their founder RADU . Going a bit back to what happened few months ago where he raised the smartest funding method in the world using a message of empathy and urgency asking the first SESSIONS supporters ( Mainly those with a TIER 5 who paid more than 700 USD) to buy Tier 6 ( 750 USD) and TIER 7 ( 4150 USD). I already bought the TIER 5 on september 2023 so I was not ready to invest more.
What happened is that company pretends suffering financial issues but the reality is that they could have been investing in new product lines and preparng for the sale of SESSIONS videoconferencing for a big ITC cartle and the millions of USD collected from Appsumo platform would be a sorl of 0% interest refund once the sale transaction of the software is secured 100%. So they raised funding from their early supporteds to make Sessions Mature and more powerful but most importantly they might have secured a new product line under a diffrent brand and business name .Now, we need Appsumo to be accountable and firm not only by refunding its customers but also to negociate an extra compensation from Sessions team. Is is really hard to see that your 750 USD in blowing out in 1 year of time span but we bame APPSUMO for not comenting or showing its insurance and accountability as the problem has started a couple of months ago for many clients, for me this is the frst announcement I receive .

Access to the platform: The platform will remain live until December 27 for you to download your recordings and other data. Please ensure you retrieve any valuable information before this date.

Service changes: All other services, including videoconferencing, will stop functioning as of tomorrow.

Support: While we will monitor our community Slack channel (join here), response times may be delayed. We will do our best to assist where possible.

What happens next?
Our goals during this pause are to:

Secure financing to stabilize SESSIONS.

Adapt our strategy to fit the current market landscape.

Reignite growth, restore operations, and clear outstanding obligations.

How did we get here?
Our journey started with the vision of revolutionizing collaboration. We made significant progress, thanks to your support, but unfortunately ran out of funds before reaching market readiness.

Despite running out of funds in July, we:

Maintained platform functionality without shutting down or filing for insolvency.

Explored fundraising, partnerships, and even sale scenarios.

Operated without payroll, leading our team to pursue other opportunities while still helping sustain the platform.

Unfortunately, these efforts have not yet succeeded. To avoid a permanent shutdown, we are moving into conservation mode while we work toward a sustainable solution.

If you are owed a refund and have not received one through channels like AppSumo, we will do our best to honor it when we are financially stable again.

I have written a short review already but now, I checked some details.
I ordered 3tier on Aug 2023. It's a little over a year.
If I knew earliesw, that they will be closing down - I could probably take my money back from PayPal presenting Session's correspondence (within 180 days).
I feel ripped off. Many of us will feel the same.
I wrote to AppSumo support as they sometimes have other means to solve the problem.
The whole situation destroys AppSumo presence too...
Honestly?
From now on, I will think 10 times before getting any deal again.
What a pity.

O sessions tinha tudo pra ser incrível, no início estava tudo funcionando bem, muitas atualizações semanais com objetivo de melhoria (pelo menos é o que parecia) depois começamos a receber emails de problemas financeiros da Startup e tentativas de venda de novas opções de TIERs para monetização.

No final das contas, o sentimento é que fomos enganados, mas acredito que vão fazer algo, não é possível que vão abandonar um projeto tão promssor

Es war von Anfang an mit vielen innovativen Ideen, aber auch mit viel Verbesserungspotential.

Trotz vieler Mängel habe ich geglaubt, dass alles noch verbessert und weiterentwickelt wird und wollte diesem Unternehmen eine Chance geben.
Vor genau 1 Jahr habe ich dann hier bei Appsumo eine Lifetime-Lizenz für Sessions gekauft.

Jetzt kann man sich nicht mehr einloggen. Kein Support. Nichts geht mehr.

Nicht nur das Geld für die Lizenz ist verloren, sondern zusätzlich noch für alle Anpassungen in Newslettern, Webseiten, etc.
Sehr ärgerlich.

Doesn't work any more. Couldn't log in. This is a real letdown from Sessions & AS (3rd time or more). No word in advance from Sessions or AS about it shutting down. I got 4 codes. I regret getting AppSumo Plus. I think the least AS could do for Sumolings is to give vouchers to make up for this loss (at best, partially).

Since two days, i can not login more.
i have sent already a mail to the support, no reply.
I want to give a better review, but without login....not fine!

I have tried the app recently sometimes freeze and yesterday denied my log in i then asked appsumo if they gonna buy it because of bankruptcy then appsumo offerd refund finally no one refund my until now

esto me parece una estafa en toda regla, appsumo ya no me parece de fiar si dejan que una aplicacion como ésta aparezca en su repositorio y desaparezca con nuestro dinero y estén promoviendo otra plataforma, es una vergüenza.

The software itself had potential and, while it worked, was a prototype going in the right direction. I don't know the details on why it went downhill, but certainly more due-diligence in ensuring that the product sponsored here adheres to basic ethical standards is pretty much mandatory. It is unfortunate that things went this way, but I think this particular case needs a full refund to avoid sumolings losing trust in Appsumo's brand.

The overall demise of Sessions is another reminder that the Appsumo model is no longer working. They allow these false startups to build a system that almost works and then they take all of their money and invest it into another venture. This is what is happening with Sessions. If you can't log in, it's because it's abandoned and the founders has used their Appsumo money to start another venture.

To Noah and Appsumo, I would highly encourage you to buy this software and the code itself and make it as part of your tools. It is pretty good. At some point people were happy using it. I was very happy with it. Until they started to say they have money issues and started to funnel their funds to another startup.

Please Appsumo, but this software. I want it to work. I would happily buy more codes if this was offered again. To all those that bought this...please encourage Appsumo to buy this. That way we can finally have a software that finally works without false founders who scam the Appsumo community of their money.

I bought it 1 year ago and now the page has not worked for 1 month. I write to support, to the creator and they don't answer anything, they don't provide any explanation and the creator is already promoting another application on his Linkedin. AppSumo is not responsible either, a shame, I trusted Appsumo a lot and now I see that they are just part of the scam.
