I really had high hopes for this. The team seemed great, responsive and enthusiastic - the product was really good although was lacking in some ways, that seemed easily fixable. But they basic things never got fixed and now it's degrated further into something that is absolutely unusable. The bots can not answer a single question correctly without messing something up and most of the knowledge it doesn't access, even if you give it the most basic of knowledge.
Huge disappointment and has giving me plenty of headaches, both from a developer standpoint and a customer standpoint. Spent countless hours trying to get the bot to not be retarded, in some cases i was successful - but it was like playing whack-a-mole. One thing fixed another thing went bust, and the basic never got better.
Have bought a boat load of products on Appsumo, but I have never regretted any to this extent. I was pretty excited when I saw the features and especially the whitelabel options and so I went with the highest tier: Tier 5. Problems started cropping up one after another. The chatbot is not very customizable including some of the most basic features like giving a responses with links to options doesn't work. Their support responds (slowly), and they seem to be unable to get a fix for most issues we faced despite having pretty simple requirements.
Most importantly, AppSumo support will not help once the 60 day window closes even if the product stops working as it did during the first 60 days. Only then it dawned me that AppSumo products are 60 day purchase than a lifetime one - because that is the only time window where you are assured of a working product and beyond that it is just a bonus. Think twice before buying the highest tier for any deal and remember it can stop working anytime and AppSumo support will be of not be of any help.
Have been tweaking the bot for almost a deal, which was painstaking, it would chat loop or give wrong information, or just try and have a chat instead of doing what its main goal was. I was hoping to launch it this week so logged on to see if I could finally bash out the kinks, only to find most of the features are behing a $90 a month paywall, what happened to lifetime access? (even sometime as basic as forms is now behing the paywall, have my form already made but cant change it bevause I need to pay. madness)
We bought tier-5, and while we've been generally pleased with the product, the support is a major let down.
Our issue in particular has been with the agency/white-label functionality, which includes the ability to set your own custom SMTP server. This is a great feature, but it just doesn't work.
We've tried configuring it with AWS SES, SMTP2Go and every time it fails.
Interacting with support is like asking how many r's there are in strawberry - their support bot asks insightful questions then ignores the answers and says "you are entering the details incorrectly"...
It's so frustrating that such a small and simple part of the system is letting it down..
Most of the features are not working(example: forms are not working. logic issues. chat is not responding...)

I recently upgraded to the top-tier plan & got attracted by its robust features and potential. The platform itself is outstanding and could definitely earn a five-star rating with some tweaks.
However, I've encountered some issues, such as not receiving OTPs, which has prevented me from exploring the full capabilities of my plan & get insdie the community help., looking fwd to engage more with the community for a complete experience and would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve these access issues :)
With more responsive customer support and resolution of these minor bugs, I'm confident this platform deservesmore tacos here. For now, I'd rate it at 3.5 stars, optimistic about improvements that will fully harness its potential.
One of the best purchases I made on Appsumo.
Once you get to implement the best practices and are able to configure other parameters properly, the widgets get pretty accurate in their answers which is very important for my use case.
The UI makes your configuration and calibration easier and makes managing your widgets faster.
I just hope the team will find a way to improve their customer support or community engagement.

Amazing white labelled SaaS for creating your own AI chatbots for clients. Support is really helpful and well worth getting imo. We've done several tests and really love how fluid the conversation is and how easy it serves up calendly links and other resources. Highly recommend!
My experience with the Answerly support team, particularly in resolving issues with the Appsumo featured app, has been the worst I have ever had.
Trying to set up the app with the support team was a nightmare and never worked as described.
Worst, I delegated admin control to my Cloudflare account to set DNS. They disabled the cache feature without telling me. I ran my website during the day without caching!
I have bought many apps on Appsumo for years, and I normally purchase products that are not 100% ready. However, this was always compensated by a great support team.
This was definitively not the case with the Answerly team.
I took the higher plan...Thanks to Apssumo 60 day's refund feature I was able to get back my money.
Run away from them.
This is a very good AI product. I think the real-time training is what sets Answerly apart from the other products available here on AppSumo. Good job!
This is an incredibly helpful product for me as a small-business owner. It did not take me long at all to find my way around the user interface and get everything set up on my website. When I had one sticking point, I sent a message to tech support and received a very clear and helpful video back showing me what I needed to do and i had it all fixed literally within two minutes from watching the explanaiton. Totally recommend it!
This product has many bugs. Additionally, the white-label feature is unusable. The purpose of the white-label feature is to hide any branding related to the original service provider, but unfortunately, that is not the case with Answerly for the following reasons:
1- I have successfully set up my agency subdomain and SMTP connection and can access my agency dashboard. However, when our clients want to add their own custom domain, the platform instructs them to point their domain to 'answerly-chat--domain.b-cdn.net' instead of hiding the Answerly brand. Consequently, when clients look up Answerly, they find the offer for $69.00/month directly from Answerly, causing us to lose the client.
2- When our clients forget their password and try to reset it, they cannot receive the reset link from our domain. Instead, they have to go to the Answerly login page (https://app.answerly.io/login) to get their password reset link directly from Answerly, which is unacceptable.
3- The drop-down menu for the clientsβ plans contains only two options: Free and Whitelabel Pro. It is not possible to offer any customized plans.
I have been in contact with Answerly support for more than 4 weeks, but nothing has been resolved so far. They have indicated that they do not know when these issues can be fixed. This suggests either a lack of concern or a lack of capability to fix these critical bugs.
I question why they offer a white-label feature and waste peopleβs time when the product has so many bugs. I will change my review if they address these problems before the 60-day refund period expires. Otherwise, I will have to request a refund as the product is currently unusable.
