White label website builder for agencies & SaaS
As a business that has used Brizy weekly for five years, I’ve witnessed both the positives and negatives of this platform and what it can offer entrepreneurs. Let’s start with the positives. The product significantly simplifies the process of building attractive websites. If you lack a background in HTML or web design, as was the case with several of our team members responsible for updates, you’ll find it relatively easy to get a decent website up and running quickly.
Now, let’s move on to the negatives, of which we’ve experienced many while using this platform:
Website load speeds are very slow. The company is aware of this issue but has been slow to make tangible improvements. Many other Brizy users have raised this concern, but if you require fast-loading websites, Brizy will leave you disappointed and frustrated.
The leadership’s willingness to engage with customers directly and resolve issues is poor. On several occasions emails to senior leadership have been ignored and unrespond to when feedback has be critical of practices and outages. If you encounter serious issues that require escalation, expect radio silence from senior leadership—they, in our experience, did not respond, even after many chases which is simply unprofessional and a reflection of the company's actual values.
Broken promises: We invested hundreds of hours migrating our old website to Brizy. Their 2020-2021 version of their site had many limitations, which they decided to overhaul their platform to address. They initially committed to migrating our site to their new platform but later reneged, leaving us stuck on the old platform with no search function for visitors and no straightforward upgrade path. If they introduce another major platform upgrade, you could face hundreds of hours of manual migration work if they choose again to not migrate your website to the new architecture.
The GUI in several places is clunky and not intuitive. Moving assets between different pages is cumbersome.
The save function after 5+ years is still (as of Nov 2024) unreliable. Several team members have experienced multiple instances where hours of work on a page were lost because the system failed to save changes, even after clicking “Update” (the platform’s save function). This recurring issue has persisted for years and has caused significant headaches during critical product launches. They also don't support multiple editors on a page at once and will spontaneously reload the page if it thinks anyone else has edited the page (even when they haven't).
No auto-saving or rollback functionality. Brizy lacks the ability to auto-save or revert to previous versions of a webpage. This means that if a save failure occurs, you risk losing all your progress and having to start over.
Cumbersome management at scale. Managing websites with hundreds of pages becomes a challenge. The UX doesn’t scale well, making large-scale site management frustrating.
No native search function for the cloud version. This is a significant headache when users cannot easily find content on a complex site.
No automated backup capability. You cannot back up the website via scripts or automated processes, posing a serious business risk and the manual backup of a site is super slow and can frequently 'stall'. In the event of a cyberattack or major outage, you could lose your website with no way to restore it.
Slow customer support. Compared to other web hosting companies, Brizy’s customer support is sluggish, and the level of helpfulness varies depending on the agent you get. It could be greatly improved.
Difficult migration process. If you ever decide to leave Brizy, migrating to another platform will be an arduous and complicated process, which seems designed to lock you into their ecosystem.
Who is Brizy suitable for? If you have a small website with very few pages, Brizy is likely a good fit for you. The learning curve for basic tasks is manageable, and it can meet the needs of small-scale projects.
Who is it not suitable for? If you require a scalable site capable of handling hundreds or thousands of pages, with professional and efficient management tools, fast editing capabilities, rollback functionality, reliable saving mechanisms, quick load times, excellent customer support, and robust backup options, Brizy is not a good match. Based on five years of daily usage, you are likely to find its many shortcomings frustrating, and so will your visitors, who will suffer from painfully slow load times.
In summary, while there are several aspects of Brizy Cloud to like, particularly for small-scale projects, the platform struggles significantly as your website scales. Issues that are minor for small sites become major pain points with your website grows. I wish I could offer a more positive review, but our experience with Brizy Cloud has highlighted too many limitations to recommend it for anything beyond simple use cases.
I've tried other AI generated site builders and the problem with them is that all they do is produce the same site but with different colors.
That's not the case with Brizy.
And beyond that Brizy is easy to use and fairly robust. Putting it over the top is the great support and development backing this product.
I like the product and started working on building a website, just to realize the changes disappeared despite saving it multiple times. Many days of work lost and support took 5 days to respond saying they can't find it in the revision history!!
Not sure if this is a reliable product, even though the interface looks good
I am very satisfied with this product, which offers excellent French translation support. While my initial experience with the page builder wasn't entirely intuitive, particularly regarding headers and footers not automatically appearing on all pages, a quick training video solved this confusion. I learned that with just one click, you can apply headers and footers across all pages.
Similarly, while the site and menu construction initially seemed complex, once you understand the workflow, it becomes remarkably straightforward. The learning curve might feel steep at first, but I strongly encourage new users not to give up – this tool is truly fantastic once you master its basics.
I was particularly impressed by the AI tool that can generate a website from a Google Business listing – it's a brilliant feature. However, I encountered a significant issue: when trying to access my generated site on Chrome, I received a security warning stating the site was dangerous, preventing access to the page. This doesn't happen with traditional websites built on the platform. I believe this security warning related to the brizy.site subdomain needs to be addressed, as it could worry potential clients viewing the sites. here the url : https://blueberry21535709.brizy.site
In conclusion, while the interface may require some initial patience, the platform's power and efficiency make it absolutely worth the effort. Don't let early challenges discourage you; this is an exceptional tool that delivers outstanding results.
Everytime I have attempted to create a website, the design look very mediocre. I was hoping this would improve my workflow but it doesn't. Only creates a landing page for you (AI) and header and footer doesn't apply to sub pages. I will stick to wordpress.
Brizy is well-known and highly regarded in the Appsumo and LTD community. Lot's of cool features and keeps on improving consistently. The templates collection are beautiful and we also love the web stories.
I tried the AI builder and was impressed with the output. However, when published, all the text became random codes. Probably a bug, but I'm sure they can fix that quickly.
I hope they stay a little longer so I can upgrade my plan. Cheers! 🍻
As a first-round buyer back in 2019 on AppSumo and then purchasing just about every other offer Dimi and the crew over at Brizy have come up with, they have just gotten better with each offer! This is the best yet, so I had to buy it to add to my collection. I have a few other builders, but I never used them.
Brizy is always trend-setting and ahead of the curve with Dimi and his team. The support team is amazing, and they are all very knowledgeable. I do not work for Brizy, nor have I been promised anything in return for my comment—just my honest experience with Dimi and his team.
The built-in SEO options are great, but you can add additional SEO features too. The AI content writer and AI builder are nice complements, especially if you have no website-building experience.
Whether you are already a website builder or want to start, the pro features make it so easy to work smarter and faster no matter what level of builder you are. With nothing to lose, since they offer a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's a no-brainer. But when this is gone, all you can do then is wish it would come back! Great builder, Dimi, and crew! Chris.
Incredible all you can do even with Tier 1. My domain had been without website for more than 3 years, and in two days with Brizy and a simple template design I selected it is up and running.. whitelabeled ad on my own domain url. I have only just touched the surface of all its features. Five Tacos for Brizy. I just hope the Appsumo will no be affected with time. This is a winner! Check out my site... https://valgasa.com
I can't create a 404 page in Brizy Cloud, not good for SEO. Asked for help, crickets. Too bad, it looked promising.
The program works well and I'm able to design a good art gallery complete with Stripe and PayPal buttons using ChargeKeep. What more could I ask for? I have watched quite a few video tutorials and Brizy Cloud has a lot of features for making a good-looking site. My friend also can build a site from the amount I purchased, with an easy login. Solves my problem about protecting my other sites and allows him to build a website the way he wants it. Free hosting and SSL, just hook up a domain name for an impressive site. Thrilled!
We needed a quick way to put together some smaller sites that don't require a robust CMS or anything like that. If you are used to, say, Squarespace or similar, this is like that. I found it to have some great details and tools that make putting up some basic and nice-looking landing pages or sites with not a huge number of pages easy. I think it helps to try it out first and get to know what Brizy does and does not do. It doesn't yet have any ecommerce functions as far as I can tell. It isn't going to replace a large Wordpress site. That's OK. It suited our needs perfectly for a really fantastic LTD price.
Additional update: After reporting this issue I was told that they were not going to fix the issue. This makes it a 1 taco review. They do not supporting migrating sites from wordpress to Brizy without breaking your SEO.
Update: I found the support team to be poor. A flaw was raised with how the system handles trailing slashes and essentially got back "Every platform works differently, my dear". Apart from the demeaning attitude of your support member they are not providing a realistic fix.
I really like Brizy and it would of been five stars but I found out something that would make me say don't migrate indexed sites over to Brizy from Wordpress. My site has over 150 posts, I spent days migrating the site over. Google indexes the site with a trailing / at the end of the URL. By migrating the site over I have broken every google link to my site as Brizy redirects any url with a trailing / to the homepage. The only way to fix is setting up manual redirects for all 150+ posts.
This is a major flaw and it makes me say that Brizy is great for new sites but avoid for existing sites. Google takes a long time to re-index and support has not provided a realistic fix that will not take days to manually do or weeks for google to might fix the issue wile probbaly damaging my rankings.
Brizy could fix the problem easily but they will not do it. At the moment use Brizy for new sites and avoid for existing sites until it gets fixed.
