Work in the plan. Not on the plan.

I'm still early in my expectations with Empiraa but liking it. I have found it fairly good now I've got my head around what the areas are/mean. I love the AI feature but would LOVE to see it autopopulate the area I am in when I ask the question - I cut and pasted first off but then lost all the other great suggestions. I now cut and paste into a separate document then back into the individual areas I need them. Too time consuming and would be a huge 5 Taco from me if it autopopulated AI. The AI and the Templates are fantastic - just make them fillable or autopopulate and I will be so happy!

I'm about to connect in Xero for ongoing monitoring - hoping that works well as it will save me heaps of time. I'm also loving the ability to share tasks with specific teams across my businesses, with the ability for me to only show them what they need to see.

I've got this covering 3 businesses (yep, like most I'm a serial entrepreneur) - I have them set up as different teams. This also seems to work well with some of the goals overlapping multiple businesses/teams/team members.

Fantastic system and I'm excited to see it grow and evolve.

UI is hard to understand and not straightforward to use. Labels itself as Monday alternative, but we are past Monday users and I can't for the life of me figure out how to add a simple Todo in this app and check it off. The KPI tracking and checkins are cool, but seriously rework the UI and make it simpler. The whole edit/publish mode is also confusing, didn't get I was still only in edit mode after I pressed the button and assumed my changes was saved. Why have the extra Publish step? I also contacted support with my feedback and they are slow to supply details on what they are working on and how UI improvements look. I think this will become a refund eventually because the progress so far. Its a shame as this is the only decent KPI tracking tool I've seen on here since Workfacta, and Workfacta turned into an abandoned project.

For the last 20 minutes my business partner and I are trying to figure out where to login as an existing user. If you go to your website try to login. We as of this moment still haven't been able to find the login form. However we not discourged and still very very excited to use it. It's right on time for us. Learning curve or not that's "business". I need it to be more functional than easy to use. So far what I saw in the video we are eager. I will be back to write a more detailed review when I get access.

The software idea is fantastic - to simplify goal setting for companies, track progress visually, and monitor goals. However, in my experience, it did not live up to expectations. The user interface was terrible, making adding goals cumbersome due to the number of clicks required. Sometimes, the goals did not appear where I expected them to or did not display at all.

Although the founder announced a complete overhaul by the end of the quarter, I cannot wait that long to start tracking goals. If the product remains on AppSumo long enough for me to see the UI overhaul, I would be willing to give it another chance. As of now, in my opinion, it was unusable.

I wanted to really like this as I run a similar set up to what this does but in Excel. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. For starters, it’s unnecessarily difficult to understand and get started. It forces you to set 5 objectives before moving on. Then for the duration of your KPIs/OKRs it only operates in Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly as options. Therefore if you have a weekly OKR, you’re out of luck and have to monitor it inside a monthly.

The tool itself has potential but the UI had a dated feel and feels a little heavy and clunky.

The final deal breaker was that this only supports one business. I saw the Founder in the comment saying just buy 10+ licenses but it’d be nice if a plan rolled 3-5 business into one AppSumo plan.

Overall, I haven’t found a key benefit of leveraging this over something like excel. It could be powerful but may have more headaches than it deserves.

Tiny touch of a learning curve - but this has gotten me excited to hit some major goals this year.
