I am really pleased with my new forms
Problem with form naming but it is being rectified
And they are introducing a cloning feature which will be useful
Ok I tried to wait a bit to actually write this becuase I can understand that AppSumo purchases can get crazy for a developer trying to process the workload HOWEVER this has been out a for a while now on AppSumo and I am a recent purchaser so here are the issues I am having that you need be aware of.
I am willing to change my rating if these issues can be fixed but don't want someone to 100% depend on this and not be aware of these issues. I will wait it out a bit to see if things get fixed.
CONS
=====
* Support was responsive until it wasn't. I asked I think 4 questions in one email (these were just function questions that I couldn't get to work) and only received an anwer to 1. That was last Monday. I asked about the other 3 issues again and nothing.
* You can't duplicate forms - to me that is a basic need - can't believe I don't see this from others.
* The saving of the forms works but not consistent. I have saved and gone back and my work isn't saved even after hitting save multiple times.
* The ability to choose one of rounded corners for your selection boxes doesn't work at all. I have tried in multiple browsers.
* Save as a New Theme selection doesn't work. Like where the heck does it go? You can't save it as a new theme name or anything. It says it's saved but where.
* Unable to find a way to log out (I have just been closing the tab)
* No videos on how to use the product features (however it does say demos coming)
PROS
=====
* Similar to TypeForm
* Easy to use
Overall I hope the developer is commited to this product becuase I really like what it CAN be given the commitment, so like I said I will give it a bit more time. I don't want to have to refund it. I can see it's potential value.
An incredible and essential tool, excellent price and extraordinary functionality, buy without fear.
When it comes to 1:1 alternatives to some of the most popular software out there, Formberry has come the closes to being a full typeform replacement. The dev team is really passionate about this project and I cannot waihttps://appsumo.com/products/formberry/t to see where it goes!
When I purchased two codes, I had some issues getting them redeemed. Thankfully, Rob reached out back to me in literally less than an hour (which is impressive). The web application itself has some minor glitches but otherwise works exactly as intended. The forms are beautiful and very customizable. This is better than Typeform, and it is ON ITS WAY. Get it now.
When I first signed up, nothing worked. I reached out to support and Rob replied near-instantly letting me know that there were some updates going on. Within a few hours, it was straightened out and I was able to re-log in and create a form.
The builder is quite easy to use and the finished form looks similar to typeform. Sadly, there are parts that still feel like the product is in beta. For example, when you change the design and click Save, there is no animation or confirmation to show that your changes were actually saved.
My biggest issue is that the Airtable integration doesn't work. Firstly, it asks for an Airtable PAT, which Airtable says should only be used for your own internal connections and not with 3rd-party integrations. Secondly, when I try adding a PAT, it gives me an error message.
Rob has promised a resolution to this, but it's been a week and there are still no updates. Since I bought this tool specifically for the Airtable integration, and I have an immediate need for a form that works with Airtable, I will be refunding this and trying Fillout or Tally.so instead.
When I first created my Formberry account, I encountered some issues with setting up a workspace and creating a new form. However, after reaching out to their support team, they resolved the problem quickly, and I've had no issues since.
I would advise ignoring the previous 1-star reviews—those seem to be from people who lack patience. While it's true that software should ideally work perfectly from the start, it's important to remember that Formberry is a new company, and some initial hiccups are expected.
I'm confident these teething issues will be resolved soon, making the platform even more valuable—especially considering the current price compared to other options on the market. The roadmap looks good as well, defiantly worth buying and holding for the future.
I bought Formberry through Appsumo. Nothing worked when signing up! Can’t redeem provided code.
Not able to create a workspace & forms, neither from scratch or from a template. I did not receive technical support in a reasonable time.
Don’t waste your money.
This is a great typeform alternative (pretty much what they advertise) - simple and functional. The team responds quickly and seems invested in making this software work. I hope these guys do well in the long run. Wishing them lots of success.
I bought Formberry through Appsumo... And nothing worked when signing up!
Not able to create a form, neither from scratch or from a template.
In a nutshell this app is not usable.
Rob and the team are very responsive. I had noticed some early bugs/issues, and they fixed them in a timely manner. It's refreshing to have a product's team be so responsive. Formberry has replaced Typeform for me. It's not an exact copy of Typeform, and it doesn't have all the extra features, but it gets the job done. It allows for image uploads, and many different types of input questions. For the price, you get everything you could want in a form and survey tool without a monthly subscription.
I integrated it with Airtable very easily, but for some reason the date fields that arrive well to Airtable are being recorded incorrectly in the "Results" page of FormBerry.
