Love it!
I took Frase.io for a spin, I've been a huge fan for a long time, but I thought it was time to make a review. I must say I enjoy using it, and I've been able to rank numerous articles number one. Watch my review of Frase here: https://phillipstemann.com/frase-io-review-rank-your-content-on-google/

Many Regrets
I took on this deal thinking about content analysis and how Frase could assist giving me a quick overview on what others are writing about similar subjects. It does this part of the job as promised. With the introduction of the 'SEO-addon', this product however has turned into crippleware. Almost all functionality is blocked by an annoying popup to get the SEO-addon. I do understand that the deal on AppSumo did not include all features of the AI-rewrite, but why not simply hide all buttons that we cannot utilize? Oh - I know - it is to put it right in our face that we should pay a monthly fee to not be annoyed with clicks on non functional buttons that trigger a popup. Then the next iteration - proudly presented with a video - Frase can now generate content from your outline. Hit that button - it thinks a long time and then... oh jay.. again that popup. Okay.. so what about the original functionality.. it is gone from the shortcut menu, we now need to click on the 'AI writer' menu (which as per above is NOT functional) and then click on 'templates' to find parts that do work. UI joke. So the short of it - Frase does what I wanted it for, but it is an UI trap with buttons leading to upsell their 'SEO addon' (which includes the AI-writer). Not impressed. Please rethink the UI so it works just as well for a workflow without the SEO addon as with it.

Bait and switch? Fraud? What’s going on?!
Had Frase for literally almost a year now yet today I get an email stating my codes are NOT legitimate and they will either delete them, or I can buy their SEO add-on and continue using it. What? That’s so sneaky. We purchased directly from appsumo so why on earth they’d think our codes are fake I don’t know. Seems more like a scare tactic to force an upgrade to their Seo add on if you ask me.

Stop reading this and buy it
Bought this ages ago (I work in SEO for big media company, but bought it for my personal and much smaller website) suspecting I'd need it at some point...and then promptly forgot about it. (FOOL!) Anyway - I recently remembered I'd bought it (needed to do some research and dimly recalled that Frase did this sort of thing) and BY GOD it's brilliant. Could have saved me so much time if I'd used it sooner...but even today it's spared me so much strife. Really does the legwork in terms of content research. They've added loads of features since I bought it and it was already ace. Total bargain. Don't waste any more time...buy Frase! If you need to write SEO-friendly content (and who doesn't?) then this will save you so much time. I say that as someone who has quite a lot of experience with this sort of thing...even if you're good at search optimisation (or especially?) this is a Godsend.

Awesome for improving content
I've been using this for the past few months and the results have been great. I do use it with new blog posts sometimes, but mostly I've been using it to update older posts. I can almost always improve a posts ranking and traffic with the help of Frase.

Amazing SEO tool!
We implemented Frase in our Content Team and it improved our workflow by a ton! Until we discovered Frase we spent at least an hour (probably closer to 2) for every article - researching other articles to a topic, best practices in that field and which topics our competitors were working with in their content. Now we just do our keyword research or check our content plan and get to writing right away. We've also used Frase to optimize our existing content and really saw our ranking improve. As a young startup (celebrating our first birthday in two weeks) it's all about productivity and seeing fast results. Frase allowed us to not only optimize our workflow but also improve the quality of our content! It's basically a no-brainer at this point, go get it.

Amazing!
Great way to get a ton of content info. Put in your search, keywords or title, and get the top content that appears on Google. Sure you could go find this all yourself -- but this is much faster. Definitely worth a LTD price. I'm probably barely using the features but it's great for me just for this alone.

Disappointed until...
When I first saw the deal, I was excited and got one code for use for the content aspect. I jumped on and then was immediately disappointed: The content section looked intimidating I then discovered a use case which made even more sense for me: Using it to index and crawl support sites for platforms we use, mainly wordpress plugins. I then had my Aha moment! This is fantastic for us as an agency as our own support team spends so much time on 3rd party plugin support sites, looking for help and answers. This really has saved me time from the just testing it today. Even though the deal is over, I'm adding my review that it is well worth the 4 tacos and the $79 we spent on it (not yet a 5 taco review as they have us on a basic plan and limits, even with the Appsumo code added and waiting to see if they resolve this). I do wish I had tried it sooner before the deal expired as I would have bought the double code. @Matt_Hurley: This is a really great product and looking forward to seeing where it goes. One suggestion: for non-power users like me, it would be great to have 'templates' based on the use cases referenced on the site. I know we may be too small to consider adding this type of feature but I really do think it could increase the product engagement by all levels of users and org sizes.
