Protect your ad spend from click fraud
I recently picked up FraudBlocker from AppSumo, and it’s been a game-changer for my Google Ads. Setup was quick, and right from the start, it began blocking suspicious IPs, saving me money on wasted clicks. The “Fraud Score” feature really stands out, showing ad fraud risk across campaigns, and the real-time tracking has given me solid insight into where my clicks are coming from.
The reports are handy too, with details like blocked IPs, device types, and even accidental clicks—a surprising bonus! FraudBlocker is now essential for keeping my ad budget efficient. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to maximize ad spend.
Honestly not very satisfied, I tried to open a ticket a week ago and still have not received an answer, on the other hand the FraudBlocker reports are completely wrong, they detect threats avoided in Meta (where everything has been turned off for months) and do not detect any clicks from Google (where we spend €500/month).
The guys are very quick to respond here but apparently the same doesn't happen with tickets.
I sincerely hope it is all temporary and that I can update this review soon ;)
FraudBlocker is a game-changer for anyone running digital ad campaigns! As a small business owner, I was tired of seeing my ad budget drained by suspicious clicks and traffic that didn’t convert. After trying FraudBlocker, I immediately noticed a huge difference. It actively blocked fraudulent clicks and ensured that my ads reached high-intent users, significantly improving my ROI.
The setup was simple, and the results were clear within a few days—better leads, more relevant traffic, and overall higher-quality engagement. The dashboard makes it easy to track what’s happening with my campaigns in real-time, so I feel much more in control of my ad spend.
FraudBlocker is worth it for anyone serious about maximizing their ad budget and reducing wasted clicks. It’s become an essential tool for my marketing efforts, and I highly recommend it to any advertiser dealing with click fraud.
Banned IPs were not automatically updated in the Google ad campaign. I contacted support for a fix but received no response. Frustrated, I decided to use another tool instead. I had purchased their deal during the previous promotion.
I had barely started integrating the tool, but nothing worked. The Meta pixel wouldn't connect for some reason, while Google did connect, but I couldn't see any statistics, even though my ads were running and everything was connected. Their support couldn't provide a solution either. To my frustration, I requested a refund.
I was initially skeptical about Fraud Blocker, especially regarding its effectiveness in the context of affiliate marketing. However, I decided to give it a try with Tier 1 and ultimately upgraded to Tier 4 before the discount ended.
After reviewing numerous chats, comments, and messages, I believe that anyone involved in advertising should at least consider trying it out. However, it's crucial to understand how it works before diving in.
In short:
Traffic Blocking: Fraud Blocker does not block traffic to your site.
Invalid Clicks: It specifically targets invalid clicks by analyzing user behavior through its algorithm.
Blocking Mechanism: The tool utilizes a combination of blacklisted IPs and VPN detection, along with intelligent routines to identify fraudulent activity.
Dashboard Savings: The savings displayed in the dashboard are not absolute; they serve as an indicator that you can fine-tune based on your average cost-per-click (CPC).
Click Handling: The first click from a user is not blocked, ensuring that you don’t lose potentially valid clicks. Subsequent clicks may be blocked based on user behavior, but again, no traffic to your site will be blocked—only ads will be restricted for specific IPs and users.
I tested the tool and decided to disable VPN blocking, as many legitimate users utilize VPNs. However, settings can be adjusted for fine-tuning.
I recommend purchasing, testing, and then making an informed decision. When combined with a tool that tracks attribution clicks, Fraud Blocker can be an excellent asset for any serious advertiser.
While there is room for improvement in terms of user experience and options, the tool is functioning well in its current state. My testing has been limited to Google Ads, so I cannot provide insights on its performance with Meta.
Good luck!
1. Support does not respond to emails or tickets. I tried several times and no response.
2. Improvements needed for Google Ads connections, especially for MCC accounts.
3. Not all currencies. Personally, I need PLN and as I wrote in this matter, I did not receive a response :)
4. Reports take a long time to load and very often after logging in they are not there at all (there are zero values).
5. The reports do not contain information useful for optimizing and targeting ads, e.g. information about campaigns. The remaining data is even okay, but to find out something, you have to export the data.
Other than that the app seems to do its job well which is why I give it 4 strong tacos!
This product is undeniably impressive, and I fully intend to keep using it. Nevertheless, it does have its drawbacks, including inaccurate results and unexplained fluctuations in reported fraudulent clicks, which can be quite frustrating. The click threshold settings can be inconsistent at times, leading to reports that undermine trust.
Love the app BUT priorities first:
1. Ineffectiveness in Detecting Fraudulent Clicks:
- Ineffective click threshold; does not block multiple clicks.
- Inaccurate results and unexplained fluctuations in reported fraudulent clicks.
2. Limited Integration and Configuration:
- Difficulties with Facebook integration.
- Inability to disconnect Google accounts for testing.
3. Lack of Comparative Features:
- Missing features compared to ClickCease (competitor analysis, session recordings).
- Limitations in protection for Facebook and Microsoft ads.
4. Issues with Click Configuration:
- Click threshold settings are ineffective.
- Confusion regarding the impact of configurations on ad campaigns.
6. Inaccurate Reporting:
- Lack of precise data on visitor location and devices.
- Inconsistencies in reports that create distrust.
Fraud Blocker is a must-have tool for any agency managing paid advertising campaigns. It's a robust, reliable, and cost-effective solution that promises to protect your clients' ads from fraudulent clicks. Highly recommended!
As a digital marketing agency with over 15 years of experience running paid ad campaigns, we always look for tools that can enhance our clients' ROI. After testing various click fraud prevention solutions, we found Fraud Blocker to be the most effective and financially savvy option. We’ve been using it for over 18 months, and it continues to deliver outstanding results across both Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
One of the key reasons we chose Fraud Blocker was its quick and straightforward installation process. Whether through inserting a code snippet or using Google Tag Manager, integrating the software into our clients' campaigns was seamless. The platform's configuration and automation features are also top-notch, allowing us to customize settings to match each client’s unique needs easily, then letting the software run in the background without requiring constant oversight.
Fraud Blocker doesn’t just block fraudulent clicks—it also provides detailed and easy-to-understand reporting, which helps us monitor campaign performance and quickly identify any issues. We’re particularly excited about the upcoming white-labeling feature, which will allow us to generate branded reports for our clients, enhancing our services.
From a results perspective, Fraud Blocker has been a game-changer for us. By eliminating fraudulent clicks, we’ve seen noticeable improvements in our clients’ ad performance and ROI. Their budgets are now being spent more efficiently, leading to higher returns on investment.
In addition to its superior performance, Fraud Blocker offers excellent value compared to competitors like ClickCease (now Cheq). The lifetime deal makes it an obvious choice for agencies managing multiple clients. The cost savings and increased efficiency have made Fraud Blocker an indispensable tool in our digital marketing toolkit.
I used Fraud Blocker at the launch of a Google PPC campaign. Within 30 days, they saved me ~50% in fraudulent clicks, which is more money than the cost of a max stack. You're just wasting money if you're not running fraud protection on paid campaigns. Even on small campaigns, this will pay for itself.
The interface is modern and easy to use.
The Facebook integration has been a little bit of a pain, but it's worth it. It's in beta, so it will likely improve with time.
Knowing that API and white labeling are coming, this is a gem. Great work, guys.
We did the online meeting and they couldn't fix it, they tried but they couldn't fix it. Its now shelfware. Simple as that really.
Big disappointment.
