I bought this long ago hoping to replace Opus Clips. I fully stacked this for my team to use.
However, upon testing the export feature it doesn't work. I highly suspect that the company has significantly toggled down Appsumo user's bandwidth.
It was fine before but not anywhere. I can't even refund it now. Thus this will go down as a disappointment.
I guess I will have to go back to using Opus Clips and just swallow my another bad investment in Appsumo.
This app is super disappointing. I have sunk a lot of money into it and even bought upgrade after upgrade - but it barely works or takes ages.
This needs to become a desktop app, or it will die - in over a year, they haven't managed to fix these issues.
The AI is pretty good - but working with it is close to impossible.
For those who regularly share video content on social media, Minvo is worth considering.

Here are some pros and cons.
Pros:
- Ease-to-use
- Enhanced Editing
- Streamlined Social Media Posting
- Multilingual subtitles
- Order management
Cons:
- Lacks motion tracking
- No granular editing
Creating "moments" is a painful process, it's slow and would only process 5 clips at a time, it's also hard to follow which clips are generated and which have been completed in a good design.
I use Minvo in my day to day reels captioning for posting it on social media. Great product. Sometimes support lacks on time response but its still okay as they are trying their best to improve the product . Eagerly waiting for new updates team is working on. Glad you guys introduced a status page .
DO NOT BUY until infrastructure issues are resolved
Purchase History:
Acquired through AppSumo Tier 5
Later upgraded to $XXX/year Pro+ plan via direct offer
What Works:
Intuitive cutting/editing interface
Basic trimming functions as advertised
Critical Failure Point: Export Processing
4-second clip export: 15+ minute queue time minimum (multiple tests confirmed)
Real-world impact:
Makes even a 60-min monthly export limit theoretical (physically impossible to reach)
22.5x longer processing time than video duration (vs. <10 seconds on mobile apps)
Key Concerns:
Throttling Evidence:
AppSumo users report identical issues across all tiers
Paid subscribers on other platforms face similar constraints
Final Verdict:
Until export benchmarks match 2025 industry standards, this tool actively costs more time than manual editing. Proceed only if you enjoy subsidizing beta tests for broken infrastructure.
Minvo (Minute Video) is an absolute joke with almost no developer support these days. Expect weeks of downtime each month and repeat issues. More importantly, expect this service to not exist by the end of 2025.
I've been using Minvo for over a year now, and while I really like Minvo as a platform but it's achilles heel is the insanely long export times.
So much so that I have to write a review about this because it's NOT acceptable.
I consistently see the message "export in progress but delayed" whenever I'm trying to export a video to download it.
As an example, today, I've been waiting for over 2 hours for it to render a 2 minute video. And it's only at 25% rendered so far.
This happens *ALL* the time. I have to wait hours for my short videos to export and fully render.
Minvo, you need to do WAY better on this. This type of delay is not acceptable.
I recently had the chance to use this software, and although the download times were a bit long initially, the company has clearly addressed those issues. Since then, it has been running smoothly without any problems. When I noticed some pixelation in my videos, I reached out to their support team. They responded promptly, acknowledged the issue, and fixed it by the next day.
I’m really impressed with the caption graphics and how effectively the software generates them. It’s far superior to adding subtitles with other programs I've tried—much more engaging and visually appealing.
Minvo and their customer support definitely deserves 5 stars! I’m so glad I purchased this software when I had the chance!
I appreciate the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction—keep up the great work!
I really like the interface and editing the videos is easy, I like the fact I can save formats to apply across all videos.
Massive downside however is that I cannot get the actual videos out of the platform. The exports take hours (literally hours and hours for a short vid) and then sometimes you just then get the 'fail' notice.
Update 17/5/2025 - now the entire screen has gone black, on both Chrome and Edge. Support is just not there to fix it.
All in all, this has potential but the platform is unreliable and support is not responsive.
I'd have given this 5 stars if I could actually get the videos out.
App no longer works- pushed me for a lifetime deal - i bought it just in time for the app to crash.
