Im just simply new and it’s not as straight forward as the standard WP block system… this should be as intuitive… as customizing is… but maybe im not seeing it….
Im still stuck at setting up my Agency U LTD…
Im hoping clarity will come with use…

The other problem is the Admin Login customization for white label is an extra fee…. Im hoping this is not the case of a bait and switch….
60 days to fix ……yikes…. It’s not as updated and modern as it appears to be…or suggest….

I bought WP Adminify to fully white-label my website. Without using their official templates, the parts I can customize are quite limited.

Here are the advantages:

1. It works well with official plugins to fully customize a white-labeled website.
2. Some icons and logos can be modified. The menu display and sorting are very useful, allowing regular users to see only the options they need. Combined with a permission management plugin, you can have full control.
3. After making changes, you just need to reload the page to see the results.

Here are some minor issues and drawbacks:

For me, the drawbacks currently outweigh the advantages, but I hope these will improve in the future. I will also share some suggestions later.

1. The Pro version of WP Adminify does not include the Pro versions of other plugins. To fully white-label the entire website, you’ll end up spending more (like I did, buying other plugins for white-labeling login pages, which are crucial). This might be because it’s a one-time payment during a sale instead of a subscription, but this wasn’t clearly explained anywhere. I looked for this information for a long time but couldn’t find it.

2. You need to use the official dashboard templates to completely replace the visual components. If you don't use, you can not change lots of visual items.

3. The official dashboard templates don’t allow much customization. If I need to touch the code (like CSS, HTML, or PHP), I’d rather build it myself than use this plugin. I hope the templates can offer more flexibility in the future, even starting with WP’s built-in styles, so users can freely customize.

4. Since WP Adminify’s built-in templates are somewhat rigid and lack flexibility, providing clear image size recommendations is very important. However, I didn’t see such guidelines during the process. For example:
- When uploading a logo, there’s no clear size suggestion, which can ruin the overall website layout.
- Similarly, when changing icons, there’s no size reminder or use of WP’s built-in resizing feature. As a result, changing icons can lead to a messy website layout.

Overall suggestions:
I hope the appearance templates can match the basic functionality of tools like Divi or Elementor, allowing more freedom to change colors or move items within blocks. For size-related issues solvable with CSS, it would be great to have preset options.

WP Adminify is good, but not good enough.

I hope it will be better and better.

I just spent more than an hour trying to get some basic usable design for the backend, but totally failed. All of the presets are terrible, and editing is very limited. You cannot select a preset and change it a little, the "custom" edited preset has its own start design, which is also terrible. Especially in dark mode, some text becomes unreadable. There is a dark/light mode switch top right, very nice, but the setting is overwritten by default on each page load, making this useless. There is a huge WP Adminify logo top left in the admin bar, I found no way to change it. The admin bar has a new item "false". The main WP menu on the left gets random lines in between some of the items.
Altogether, this is a nice idea, badly executed, or in early beta. I don't know. But in this state, I cannot use it, and I don't want to open a support ticket for each of the many issues. And this being at version 4 already, I have little hope all this is going to be fixed soon.

I just recently bought WP Adminify (TIER 3) as it looked very promising. Really liked the idea of a toolkit for a cleaner UI of WordPress. However when I activat the adminify UI it makes the backend unusable due to the admin bar taking up almost 90% of the WP backend. I tried to reach out to customer support via their facebook group but there is no response. Sifting through the comments there, this seems not be the first time they're not getting back to their customers. I am about to refund due to this and hope AppSumo is vetting their SELECTED offerings more thorough when it comes to service and support. This is really embarassing.

I wanted to rewrite my review because since bought I've noticed countless updates and the plug-in is running a lot smoother I also wanted to give props to the onboarding process it's really good and attentive my first review was a little harsh but real and I stick to my conclusions this one is a gem great work adminify team

Adminify offers a lot of features. And that is also my main concern. Many features (see also the list on wpadminify.com) are not needed for customizing the admin panel of WordPress. We have some features covered with other plugins so I fear future user errors or technical conflicts.

I am reluctant to use plugins that lack focus and have no user-friendly experience. Also in this case it is true: less is more. That being said, if you are looking for a plugin with lots of related and unrelated wp dashboard features: it all seems to work!

I see the developer made a real effort to add value, I am just not convinced that we can make this work in the long-term.

Wishing the developer and users all the best. I will let this sink in and make a decision soon.

This app tries to do too many things and thus causes many issues. My entire site was so slow and sluggish that I had to disable this plugin.

I really wish that they would focus on bug fixes and performance issues rather than creating bloatware.

I'm not sure if I'll keep this or refund it. That's because there hasn't been any development in fixing the issues which matter most.

The features is great but my wp-admin is load slower than before.

Importantly, where is the logout button??

Adminify has a lot of potential with great features and modules, however still needs a lot of bug fixes and a QA team to catch all small issues. I agree 100% with Whitney Lee's review. Their support is nice and responsive, however, I am too afraid to use this plugin on client sites at the moment.

The question is, will they fix all major issues before the refund period is over? Not sure.. let's see, I truly hope so.

I really wanted to love this and feel bad leaving a 2 star review because the developer is really nice but this plugin needs a lot of work. There are so many bugs and layout/styling issues. Looking back at the 2022 reviews, it seems like this isn't something that's going to be fixed in an upcoming update either but more of an ongoing issue. On top of that, the customization options are kinda half baked. I feel like Adminify is going in too many directions and not doing any of them really well. What really needs to happen imo is to go back through everything that's already been built and make sure it's rock solid. Unfortunately as it is right now though, I'm going to have to return.

This plugin is such a steal compared to many others on the market, given all the modules it provides. It easily trumps the list of features other plugins offer. The functionalities that were essential for me included the folder functionality. As I have hundreds of pages, organizing them became much easier. The ability to customize the login page primarily for clients made a good impression. The visitor actions tracker, as I mostly outsource work to developers, allowed me to check what they have been doing. Website resources and settings are all visible, and it also allows for applying JavaScript and CSS into the dashboard, which many other tools only do for the frontend. This was quite essential for me as I had several plugins whose licenses were either plainly visible or could be shown through element inspection. There were also quite a lot of other modules on offer.

I did notice several issues and hope this feedback can help the developer make the product better.

It would be nice to disable the UI of Adminify to override the plugin's UI but keep it enabled for side menus and the admin panel top, like ways to disable the UI when editing pages/posts. The UI of many plugins gets messed up, like grid builder toggle and settings, bricks builder settings page, AliDropship, etc.
When configuring all the settings, I had a hard time exporting and importing the settings. The backup seems to be dysfunctional. It would be nice to have this properly working as it takes quite some time to reconfigure Adminify for every website.
Not all of Adminify's UI elements' colors were customizable; some of the text colors didn't match the customized website.
The current UI themes seem to be too colorful in terms of contrast, not something one would like to deliver to a client, but perhaps others might think otherwise. It would be nice to have more options like grey, light blue. Currently, I have to customize.
Some improvements I can think of:

A security module would be nice.
Implementing captcha when customizing the login page.
More details in actions of users, including IP address, payload/value.
Overall, this plugin is really wonderful and brings lots of value. The benefits outweigh the cost a lot, hence 5 tacos.

After changing the visual mode, it works terribly on mobile devices, the plugin looks good only on pc. It is not adapted for accessibility. Menu editing is underdeveloped, lacks simple "disable item for all" Clicking and adding users or roles is not always enough. The backend gets a little sluggish, but the basic backend editing functions are not refined. I'm disappointed.
