Team and project collaboration made easy
I am enjoying use of BasicOps so far and same with my international team. I am also using it to keep tabs on activities I have going on with various friends and acquaintances. I have been told that WhatsApp has been much better for uploading certain files when international. Hopefully that technology will be benchmarked.
BasicOps helps me keep track of projects I'm working on with my clients and business partners as well as to do items and other assets such as photos, business documents. It's also helpful to have a timeline of communications that show when information was shared with me. It's a great tool and hope to have use of this for many years more to come!
I initially skipped this deal because it doesn't look very polished when compared to some of the big names out there like Basecamp, Asana etc.
Glad I did a quick trial first anyway and I'm so glad I did.
This is a super functional PM system that has a lot more to offer than what you might think at first sight.
Straightforward, no learning curve, almost all the things I've been looking for in all the other tools. Over the years I've switched over a lot, between all the big names - and none of them are worth what they're charging.
The team is super responsive and building on top of user feedback.
10 Tacos if I could.
BasicOps works with the way my brain works. It's very streamlined. I've tried Asana and Trello before, but they were a little more (or less) than what I needed. I like things that "just work" without too much thought (goodbye, Notion).
The interface has a lot going on, and yet I don't find it visually overwhelming. I'm able to skim over it and find just what I need to quickly add or review tasks, etc. I'm impressed: it's a real gift to be able to design such a useful UI. Kudos!
I used a throwaway email address to take a peek before hitting the BUY button, and I was pleased enough to buy the deal. Now I'm thinking about upgrading... I can see using this for everything, forever.
MY SHORT WISHLIST:
*Multiple workspaces: Multiple workspaces would be ideal for me, as a multipassionate entrepreneur. Currently I'm using Projects to separate my personal tasks and business tasks (for more than one endeavor). The ability to switch between workspaces isn't a deal-killer, but it might be nice as some of my projects grow.
*CTRL+ENTER to post a discussion entry. Nuff said. Having to click the POST button is just disruptive when I am touching on multiple points that I'd like separated in the discussion area.
There may be room for a bit of refinement, but I am impressed with the product as-is, and very excited to make this part of my daily workflow.
BasicOps is perfect to hold and manage it all: business tasks, but also personal tasks like my Christmas goodies plan! This product is a real winner.
I have successfully replaced Asana. If you're looking for a robust project management tool, BasicOps is a great option. It has all the features you need and more, including automations and task dependencies. I do wish it had the ability to invoice. I highly recommend it!
I've recently started testing BasicOps for managing my projects and I'm incredibly impressed. It's a great project management tool that's very user friendly. It has a lot of features that make it easy to organize tasks and collaborate with other team members. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it simple to manage multiple projects at once. I'm really happy with how well it works and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient way to manage their projects.
I bought the Tier 3 license for my business use . i do not regret it excellent customer service even on appsumo they are quick to answer the questions. lots of features and alot more in the road map. I am very happy with the product . One of the best investments i made on Appsumo
I have several clients on Asa**, but if I could, I would move them all over to BasicOps. BasicOps is so much cleaner in the UI and UX. I jumped in on BasicOps and it was really simple to figure out.
I'll admit that it is hard to get a client to move off of another project management platform, especially if they are using that same platform with other collaborators. I almost refunded BasicOps just because of that difficulty, but decided to keep my codes. It is worth it just on the possibility that I can get them to switch.
And any new client will go on BasicOps.
Simple clean design and does the job of organizing the project team -no overwhelm. Congrats to the team who made this an easy project management software system. One of the best gems in Appsumo!
I have tried and worked with dozens if not hundreds of project mngmnt tools.
Finally an intuitive fast overview of tasks, resources, integrate noted taking and follow up on tasks.
I also have flowlu. But it is to much input and lacks the integrated meeting notes option. Which i have tried to get in so many tools.vand the ease to make change a note in a task (optimisation, due date to show)
I only miss 2 small things, An integrated whiteboard, I use now luci and Miro. And a hard thing. Risk mngmnt board.
I must say I've tried many (and I really mean MANY) PM tools over the years since I like to organize my tasks.
When I started working with BasicOps I was looking for a replacement for my current tool with a monthly fee. And I was pleasantly surprised.
I got a few bugs in the beginning, but Jesper scheduled a call with me and not only implemented in a short space a few of the things we've discussed, but he listened to know what his clients wanted.
What else could I expect from an app at AppSumo? A great deal and a company wants to make it the best product ever. I don't know.
I still find some things I want or a small bug here and there. But I send them to the team and wait for the solution. So I'm very happy!
Our team (about 6 of us) have tried 5+ different project management and team tools. Most of them have been kind of pricey ($10+ per user month) and this is the first one our whole team has loved and we switched nearly overnight.
BasicOps is a very easy to use project management tool. We have been using it for a couple of months and it's a time saver and a esential part of our daily work.
