Horrible onboarding experience where we never received a confirmation email to verify and I did receive one response from support@appsumo.com but no response since.

I have used this a few times and it used to work great. It is a basic tool but does the job and you cannot beat the price for what it provides.

However now I cannot upload photos, I've tried every browser, going incognito and and since there is no support, just an FAQ page, I'm stuck and frustrated 😒

I'll give it 2 tacos for what it used to be but why is it no longer working?

Could do with some improving but the basics are there. I still recommend it but I hope

I am sure this is a great product for more techy people but to much frustration for a new person like myself who has never done an online giveaway. I lost 2 days of the giveaway because my integration didn't work the first time. I checked in 2 days latter (shame on me for trusting it worked!) and saw a notice in my dashboard. Would have been nice to get an email instead! I am sure I lost many subscribers because of the integration part.

I sure hope it will be easier next time if I even use it again. $49 was a bit steep for a one time use...😟😟😟

These contests are being hacked and thousands of false entries are being flooded into them.

This in turn will fill up your bulk email program (like Sendfox) and while support will sympathize with you, the team has not fixed the problem. This has been happening over since at least January 2024 (I am writing this on April 30th 2024) and Appsumo has not not fixed the bug that allows the contests to be hacked.

There are other bugs, like broken links to social media accounts, but that is minor compared to the contests being hacked. There are basic features missing, like for example, there seems to be no way to even change your password.

I have no confidence in this product and it makes me question whether I will ever use another Appsumo original product.

very nice tool

Seems to be good.

I was initially drawn in thanks to it having a few features I'd like at a decent price, however it's clear that there are issues that need fixing.

1) You can't disable reminder emails so KingSumo sends 3 emails before the end of the giveaway to your entrants. I was told by support that this is to encourage more users to engage but that shouldn't be up to you to decide. I don't want to send users these messages.

2) When using the Mailchimp integration it just stuffs the whole name entered into the "First Name" column on the Mailchimp side so everyone entering with their full names will end up with no surname in Mailchimp, just a first name with everything they entered which isn't exactly ideal.

3) Most annoyingly, somehow malicious users managed to get 7000+ botted entries into one of my recent giveaways. Sure, they used different emails, a pool of IPs, and different names, however if 3000 people enter at the exact same time, it should surely ring alarm bells? The kicker here is that I would have to go through and manually delete these entries 1 by 1 and then make a note of them to then delete from my integrations. Hopefully when I reach out to support they're able to spot the false ones and provide me with the list so I can at least do this a little quicker.

The final minor thing is not being able to remove branding (given the price, eh, but still, it'd be nice). It's done the job somewhat well for the price but if I wasn't well beyond the refund period at this point, I'd be requesting one as sadly I don't think I'll be continuing to use the product.

The landing page is nice and the giveaways are easy to set up. I wish there were a tidier WordPress solution for a more compact widget that's more customizable and eye-appealing.

We own 2 restaurant / bars and have a big party coming up that we are selling thickets too. We wanted to give away some tickets and by using this software we were able to get those people all to do the marketing for us. We also collected all the emails and sms # so it was a win - win!

I can see myself using this for long time, but the only downside, this site doesn't gives Arabic users great deal.
YES you can write in Arabic for your campaigns , but the original sharing options like "share on twitter" are not adjustable.
