I’ve been using Marky for several months now, testing its features and functionality, and I must say, it’s been a great tool for social media management. So far, I’ve posted over 900 posts across various social media platforms using Marky, and while the growth isn’t instantaneous, it has helped me gradually increase my followers and views in an organic and natural way.
What I Loved
- User-Friendly Setup: Marky is incredibly easy to set up and use right from the start.
- Efficiency: The platform simplifies the process of creating, scheduling, and posting content across multiple social media accounts.
- Customizable Features: I appreciate the flexibility to edit posts, tweak designs, schedule content, and even automatically generate posts in seconds.
What Could Be Better
- Limited Platform Support: As of now, Marky doesn’t support posting on Threads or YouTube, which is a bit disappointing.
- Manual Monthly Updates: While the software automates a lot, you still need to visit Marky monthly to generate and schedule new posts. I’d love to see an option for fully automated post generation without manual input.
Overall Impression
I’m really impressed with how smoothly Marky works. It has streamlined my social media posting process, saving me time while keeping my profiles active. Despite a few limitations, the platform is undoubtedly beneficial for anyone serious about social media marketing.
Here’s a short video review I created to share my experience:

I really wanted to give Marky a higher note, I have lots of expectations for it and the team is passionate. But it lacks basic features, and is not AI-ready.
First, we cannot give it a topic to write about (!!!). You must pick from a list of topics that cannot be described in detail. This is a very inconvenient flow. You cannot ask it for a specific tone, nor can you give it a URL or a document to let it create bulk-related content.
It hallucinates constantly and rarely provides satisfying outputs, maybe 1 out of 15. Many comments confirm I am not the only one having an impossible time to make it say something correct, despite having invested a lot of time finetuning my brand description and topic titles.
The style sounds too AI-isch, there is obviously no real prompt engineering investment behind the scene.
Since we cannot use our own prompts, you have to rely on the "topics" that have a tiny context window (just a title), which contribute to irrelevant content generation. With the cost of AI in 2025 you could be much more generous.
Nor can your brand be fully understood in detail. The context window size is also too small.
The image editor is basic, far from a Canva or a Picmaker, and it still needs polishing. It lacks an instant redo feature for quickly switching templates or creating multiple visual variations with the same text (you must do that manually).
Text Animation feature is very basic as well, and looks pretty outdated in 2025. It doesn't add any value IMHO.
The social media posting feature is basic as well, as you cannot customize posting settings like in other competitor tools. It's a one-size-fits-all approach; there is no customization per platform.
So what are the positive points?
- Easily upload your content from other tools, and write your own content. The flow is simple, straightforward, to post on multiple platforms at once when we don't need any advanced settings.
- Splitting long posts for X is really smart and works well.
It creates bulk designs that you can edit, making it an alternative to Canva when you don't need a specific style. You can keep a draft to copy/paste new content, creating coherence (you cannot save a template, though).
You get useful statistics from all your social media.
- Support is reactive
- The roadmap is full of good ideas; now let's see how it evolves!
This is exactly what I've been looking for. I was used another tool similar to this, more expensive and the templates was looking all the same. Now this tool, is amazing 😍😍😍 love the mimes I love the template variety. The content is great and engaging. Now I have great posts to go out on a regular basis. Still trying it out. Haven't tested out video. But what I had before this is 1000% better. Definitely a must to add to your agency.
It's early days with this software. Certainly a good thought starter. Some of the generated ideas do look very AI-written, but the way I see it, I'd rather have something that does 85% of the work and I get it done, than it not get done at all.
User interface is very good, easy to use. One of the reason that I'm scratching for things to say is because I barely had to do much with it to get a week's worth of losts out.
I've given it 4 tacos for now, it might make five if it keeps me working on the social media; may land on three if I lose interest!
I use the tool in the German language. The salutation, the tonality and also the content of the texts do not match the default at all - even though I filled out the profile precisely. The pictures don't fit either. The content reads like the advertising texts of a vacuum cleaner salesman. The writing model looks old-fashioned and not very modern or innovative. My requests to optimize the posts were not answered. I am therefore returning the deal.
BTW: I also miss an overview of the credits already used and a “Select all” option for the images or post templates.
Marky is a really great tool for social media managers, especially those looking to save time without sacrificing quality. The ability to generate content in minutes, while maintaining brand consistency, is a great plus. I particularly like the automatic animation feature, which is easy to use and customize and really well done. Even though the AI-generated posts require some manual editing, they are still a great starting point.
There are some features that really save a lot of time and produce great social work. Marky proves to be a reliable tool, with an intuitive design and a support team that is always available. I recommend it to anyone who wants to optimize their social media management in an efficient and creative way!
Thanks appsumo
Loving it so far. Is it perfect, no but what product is right? So my rating would be more like 4.5 tacos if I was honest. Love the fact its very streamlined and you can further edit yours generated posts and put them in your drafts prior to posting them or scheduling them to post. I did have some issues with the analytics (which it is in Beta) in the dashboard (X is still kinda wonky with getting its data), but still awesome the ability to quickly see how your posts are doing. Other thing I was a bit disappointed is that I haven't seen a way to ad small video clips instead of the carousel or just images (may in the future as a feature??). Last I received an automated email to schedule a call for onboarding to get the best of the tool but the email's link to calendly was broken and couldn't schedule a call. Other than that, its been pretty freakin cool to use.
I have spoken to the Marky team. They are responsible, responsive, and creative. Of the many AppSumo purchases that I have made, Marky has turned out to be one of the best: mostly, because I know that this team will exceed expectations in terms of meeting my agency's social media needs for YEARS to come.
I don't know exactly what I can say other than this is one of the single best products I've ever purchased from appsumo. I have multiple accounts connected to it for myself and for clients and it does an amazing job of making very professional looking social media posts at whatever frequency I want it to make. My only regret is that it doesn't do everything 100% on autopilot but I also understand why that is the case because probably one in 110 to 1 in 20 of the posts that it creates aren't a great fit - SOME very minor babysitting is necessary, but the amount of quality content it turns out in 2 minutes would take me at least two hours if not more to put together. I literally don't want anyone to buy this because I want this to be my secret weapon, but it's just so good that I can't help but sing its praises. Buy it, and buy the full stack or you will regret it.
