Alright, so I've actually purchased this deal a few months ago already and have tested it multiple times, now I'm basically using it as a Canva replacement and it's doing the job perfectly, after my purchase, they've added some cool features which I also got access to, like the inbox messages, social media accounts connection and more.
Can't wait to see what the future lies with this app. Its pretty good. Im hoping soon it will be amazing. I have had it for about 1 week, and all I can say is its very useful and a decent alternative to the higher priced competitors. Glad I purchased.
This is a really great product and I don't even make use of all the features. The poster, ad, and picture designing is great. A variety of fonts to use. AI background remover is quite good. I originally bought this mainly for creating video thumbnails and posters. For those purposes this was a great deal.
I haven't dipped into social media posting yet and several of the other features.
My complaint is I don't love interfacing with the Picmaker program. I find it's a little clunky and disorganized. Once you use it for a while it's better and of course it could be be fixed over time.
I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts after five months of using Picmaker intensively since November 2023. Your tool has become an integral part of my daily workflow, and I genuinely appreciate how it has transformed the way I create content.
First off, your intuitive interface is fantastic—especially for someone like me who isn’t a professional designer. The ease of navigation and the well-organized templates make it straightforward to craft professional visuals quickly. It’s clear that you’ve put a lot of thought into making the user experience smooth and enjoyable.
I’ve been particularly impressed with your AI integrations, like the design suggestions and publication recommendations. However, I feel there’s room for improvement. The auto-generated captions often don’t quite match my personal style or tone. It would be amazing if the system could learn from my preferences over time to offer more personalized suggestions.
The value for money is excellent, especially with the AppSumo lifetime deal. Yet, I believe adding some advanced features could take Picmaker to the next level. For instance, incorporating an AI image generator and offering more sophisticated animation options would really open up creative possibilities.
I’ve noticed occasional bugs when exporting in high resolution and some slowdowns during intensive use. While these aren’t deal-breakers, addressing them would significantly enhance the user experience.
Here are a few suggestions that I think could make a real difference:
1. Integrate an AI-powered image generator to expand creative options.
2. Develop more advanced animation features to enhance visual storytelling.
3. Optimize performance for high-resolution exports to ensure quality output.
4. Enhance AI personalization so suggestions align more closely with individual user styles.
5. Accelerate the integration of promised social networks, especially WhatsApp, to streamline sharing.
I genuinely believe Picmaker has the potential to become the go-to tool for visual content creation. By addressing these areas, you could appeal to both beginners and advanced users, creating a comprehensive platform that meets a wide range of needs.
Please keep up the great work, and know that your regular users like me are here to support you and offer feedback. We’re your biggest fans and your best source of insight.
Picmaker is a versatile design tool, offering an great array of design features that cater to both novice and experienced users. From customizable templates to intuitive editing tools, Picmaker make easy the creative process of stunning visuals. The app’s template library is expansive, providing options for various formats, including social media graphics, presentations, and marketing materials. Consequently, users can efficiently find a template that suits their needs, significantly enhancing the design process.
Picmaker’s interface simplifies navigation. Whether you’re switching between design elements or exploring the extensive library, everything is easily accessible.
I particularly appreciate social media toolkit which allow user to quickly resize graphics, ensuring their visuals meet the specific requirements of different social media channels.
Even if Picmaker is not without its minor issues, regular updates ensure that these problems are minimized and more features are added, making the app even more functional over time.
Truth be told, Picmaker doesn't have as many designs as Canvas Premium but I can how it can reach that quite quickly.
For a lifetime deal rather than a monthly subscription it is a no-brainer though.
The AI randomizer is surprisingly good. If there is more than one picture in the design it tends to randomize both pictures to the same. I believe they will be fixing that soon though. If in the future it also helps out with the text, it would be fantastic.
I've had Picmaker for a couple of months now but have not been able to use it. I contacted Picmaker support a month ago and again 2 weeks ago. Here is there response;
"Facebook API has made some updates, so there has been an issue with connecting the pages.
This has been updated as we await Facebook's approval; once that is completed, you can continue to connect your pages.
I will let you know once everything is set along with the twitter availability."
I have not heard anything the Picmaker support team in over 2 weeks and have not been able to connect to my social media accounts since I purchased Picmaker over 2 months ago. When I look at other reviews it becomes apparent that this has been a problem for a few months now. I'm not sure how you can charge money for an app that doesn't do what it'd designed for. It makes me question whether this is a legitimate business. I gave Picmaker a good try and had high hopes for it but ultimately I will be reaching out to AppSumo for a refund. I guess I'll be keeping my SocialBee account.
I see a lot of reviews complaining about social media planner or lack of some social media platform. I absolutely love this product. I don't use the planner and its new company so they are still adding features. I spoke with the team several times and they offered a demo, fixed an issue and also took any feedback for improvements which is a good sign to me. I use this product mostly for social media sizes. it's much easier than Canva. Yes Canva has more templates and some other stuff. I'll give an example, I need a YouTube thumbnail. it has exact size, easy upload, auto background sizer then add text and you can change your font and color right sides with click of button, its super cool feature just for that rather than going into the menu and doing it from there. I also used it for other logo covers and social media sizes. So if you want product for easy sizing of alot of social media demension then this is great for it. it beats most of the others, even has more options then Canva. I also used the instagram post etc. I think I counted some 80 various social media sizes, it originally started with 50, they keep adding. So to me this is very valuable as a time saver, I can make things such as this in matter of minutes, even Canva sometimes takes longer. I believe this is their strong part of the software and look forward to them improving on this feature, I'm sure they will fix whatever other issues they are having since they are super responsive team.
As others say, there is currently no Facebook and Instagram integration. This is an app killer. This has great potential with an excellent scheduler and on the fly post resizing. Looks like they are using the Canva API but lack the range of graphics. Also templates in ecommerce are sorely lacking . This could be a fabulous industry leading app but could also easily be a candle in the wind too. Come on guys improve it asap. Sort out Facebook. Add more tempaltes and graphics. Allow text only posts too.
I watched this program for a few weeks and eventually purchased it. I wanted to like this program. But after a week and a few emails without Instagram working, I decided to go a different direction. It was slow at times. Maybe it is unfair to compare it to Canva, but that is what I did, and in the end, I decided not to stick around. I wanted to use the scheduling features, but they never got off the ground. If Instagram was working, I think I would have liked it.
is Canva version 2018.
Unpleasant to use like Canva.
And sometimes very slow.
5 to 10 second load times for each page. Now, I can't even log in to my account due to some errors. As others have mentioned, Instagram and Facebook are still not connected.
