They have almost removed everything from the deal. Don't trust this team anymore.
The banners and popups they keep showing you to force you to upgrade to a paid subscription make the software complete unusable.
I have mixed feelings.
When Serpstat startet at Appsumo it seemed interesting.
However, the author treated the community Appsumo in a typical marketing manner.
Has not provided development for Lifetime accounts.
Leaving them behind.
Now I propose to switch to the paid version. :(

Serpstat is slowly removing functionality from the deal you paid for... this happens a lot with 'deals' I purchased with AppSumo.
More and more features are restricted to the plan. For example you can't even get more than the first 100 entries of keyword lists or columns are greyed out with a fat "upgrade plan" button you can't hide. Annoying and disappointing.
By far the worst tool I have ever used for monitoring rankings. The rank tracker rarely goes more than a few days before I have to get back on to support. The staff are friendly but we can only complain so much. My advice is to stay clear and invest in other tools.
I love Appsumo but they passed a bad egg with Serpstat!
Terrible!
Ben
I bought the product. A simple view seems interesting and functional. It has enough limitations but for a baby it is fine. After 3 days, I have not been able to check my positions in the SERPS because he is always thinking. IT IS A SHAME AND I AM STARTING TO THINK THAT THEY HAVE SOLD ME A GARBAGE.
PS- Sorry for the comment because, Katia, Maria and the attention department are very nice but I have spoken more than 50 times in 3 days (failure after failure, the program does not work more than 10 minutes a day). I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
I was extremely excited about this deal when I saw it, especially as I'd been gazing wistfully at tools like Ahrefs for a few months now, but they were beyond my budget at the moment. Serpstat looked like a great solution and I always like lifetime deals!
When I got into the tool after buying the Appsumo deal, I was disappointed to find that it didn't pull up ANY of the terms that I know I rank #1 for. Actually, it didn't pull up any of the top 25+ keywords that bring in the most traffic! I figured, hey, it probably just needs a bit to pull everything up.
It's been nearly a month and it hasn't pulled anything up.
I finally decided that I'd had enough and reached out to support. Turns out that database doesn't just mean countries, people! It means that they have a manually updated database of keywords. In other words, if I hadn't already been monitoring my Google Analytics and Search Console stats, I wouldn't have had any clue that the completely random keywords that Serpstat said were my 'top' keywords weren't even in the right ballpark.
If I have to manually type up and send in keywords that I need added to the database, then that part of Serpstat is completely useless to me. I don't trust its analysis to tell me how I'm really ranking against other sites, either, since it probably doesn't have most of the keywords I or my competitors are positioned for! Very disappointing.
I'm now considering getting a refund since this eliminates most of the reasons I had to buy the Serpstat deal. Maybe it works for mainstream e-commerce sites, but niche sites don't seem like a good fit at all.
Okay so I bought this deal and read alot of reviews. I kept wondering why people were annoyed considering what Serstat was offering was worth alot more than the pricetag as compared to the monthly-subscription options elsewhere. I already like the tool and think it's (was) way-under priced!
I did however got confused about the "Existing Database Updates", thinking that new Keywords, Monthly Searches, Links etc won't be added, but their support staff cleared it out (Thanks Kaetrina) that Databases meant countries and everything would be updated for these (lets say US for example) search in the future.. *Phew*
Now for the negative part of this review.
If I had the option of buying a certain White-and-Blue tool at 99$ per month over Serpstat at Half or less than half, I'd still opt for, at any given day, over the White-and-blue tool. What justifies the extra $50+ ?
Keyword Difficulty !!
Currently, when I check a domain for it's organic rankings, I have all sorts of options but not the option of KD ! Meaning, I can check the rankings of, lets say thewirecutter and get thousands of keywords and no means of knowing which of them are worth targeting. I can check the SERPS, but that would take ages.
I think the option of KD should be, WITHOUT A DOUBT, be present when you're checking organic keywords.
Honestly, I like the tool and use it, but for a recent new site I wanna start, I can't even use Serpstat for this reason and have been using the White-and-Blue tool for the "Sort by KD" option.
I know about the API and all the customization, but who has the time (or expertise) for that? I'm pretty sure it should take your team of developers more the a day or two to add that filter consider you guys already have the KD algorithm and it's implemented for the Keywords Research Tool.
Lastly, Eugene, Please add this filter and save me $99 a month. I'll buy you a coffee if you ever decide to visit Germany.
P.S Pissed a little on the Lifetime Deal limited to 100 years as I have planned to live a little longer than that... Oh Well ;)
Obviously this is a great deal, there's no question about it. The features you get for the price is unbeatable. Now if only I could sort results on keyword research based on keyword difficulty. The system does not currently allow me to do that. That means I have to manually go down and down and review the keywords myself. Then I only have 100 results per keyword research so by the time I'm at the bottom of the first tab of my query I may or may not have found a keyword or two that are interesting to me based on KD - and I cannot go further and review more pages. So I'm giving this 5 stars because it's an amazing value anyway, but the tool is cumbersome to use if your primary goal is keyword research and KD is something you care a lot about (and something ahrefs is just so good at.)
I was super pumped about this deal, but the redemption process has been nothing but a nightmare. App Sumo has dropped the ball on the customer service for this one. I can't get the code to work and I can't get support to email me back. -Sad Taco
