Okay so I bought this deal and read alot of reviews. I kept wondering why people were annoyed considering what Serstat was offering was worth alot more than the pricetag as compared to the monthly-subscription options elsewhere. I already like the tool and think it's (was) way-under priced!
I did however got confused about the "Existing Database Updates", thinking that new Keywords, Monthly Searches, Links etc won't be added, but their support staff cleared it out (Thanks Kaetrina) that Databases meant countries and everything would be updated for these (lets say US for example) search in the future.. *Phew*
Now for the negative part of this review.
If I had the option of buying a certain White-and-Blue tool at 99$ per month over Serpstat at Half or less than half, I'd still opt for, at any given day, over the White-and-blue tool. What justifies the extra $50+ ?
Keyword Difficulty !!
Currently, when I check a domain for it's organic rankings, I have all sorts of options but not the option of KD ! Meaning, I can check the rankings of, lets say thewirecutter and get thousands of keywords and no means of knowing which of them are worth targeting. I can check the SERPS, but that would take ages.
I think the option of KD should be, WITHOUT A DOUBT, be present when you're checking organic keywords.
Honestly, I like the tool and use it, but for a recent new site I wanna start, I can't even use Serpstat for this reason and have been using the White-and-Blue tool for the "Sort by KD" option.
I know about the API and all the customization, but who has the time (or expertise) for that? I'm pretty sure it should take your team of developers more the a day or two to add that filter consider you guys already have the KD algorithm and it's implemented for the Keywords Research Tool.
Lastly, Eugene, Please add this filter and save me $99 a month. I'll buy you a coffee if you ever decide to visit Germany.
P.S Pissed a little on the Lifetime Deal limited to 100 years as I have planned to live a little longer than that... Oh Well ;)
