The product is no longer there. I lost all my meetings - need a refund.

I paidd a good amount for this platform. They've always been unresponsive. The noise was terrible - it would constantly pick up on things that aren't supposed to be picked up especially when there was noise filter switch on.

Never had captions available.

disappointed when they just disappeared, and I can no longer access any videos that I had recordings of.

There were many things to like about this tool; its not so much the failure of Sessions as a model I am sad about; its a risk we take along with the developer(s). My profound disappointment was the additional LTD on their website to grab additional capital without a refund proposition and the utter disregard in ghosting every inquiry, request, email, post etc by purchasers. Have the b@lls to communicate your issues and I can support that. Just taking my money with hopeful intent and then saying "oh well" and disappearing...not admirable at all.

Ive had other Saas purchases actually tell me they are on hold for further dev as they are still not currently profitable and I can soooo respect that.

This however, shows the utter contempt for your audience

I was very pleased when I found Sessions and the first meetings actually went well. But now there has been no possibility of holding meetings for weeks. Support is unavailable and I'm afraid I've thrown my money down the drain.

Deal sounded promising. Platform looked great, but it got slower and slower over time... I didn't get any warning/notice they were closing, which is a huge problem because I was paying for ads... This makes me question the ethics of Radu Negulescu and the founders...

I did receive an email with them asking for money and another email saying they had $10k in the bank and were struggling with payroll and said "We’re still standing—because WE. DO. NOT. QUIT."

Well, now it appears they have quit.

I understand that not all business can survive and that's part of life... However, many founders are considerate and let their users know the company is closing. With Sessions 'the bar' on integrity was lowered significantly, in my opinion.

Apparently this company eventually went bankrupt. At some point, they transparently announced that they needed several millions for operations to remain profitable in the future (and sold some "rescue packages" with lifetime licenses to Sessions. Credit for transparency, but who would actually dare to buy their 500-3000 euro license in such a situation, when it's 99% certain the company will fail? Now I only lost a few hundred dollars (Tier 2 price, if I remember correctly). Still feels bad to waste money. This has reduced my trust in App Sumo, and I'm not buying software as boldly anymore. While it worked, I was satisfied.

The Sessions App currently displays a "Page not found" error with the message: "You've landed in uncharted waters." (404).

In recent weeks, most users have been unable to load their sessions, which is unacceptable for a professional tool. This level of unreliability makes it impossible to continue using the app for business purposes.

Problems continue since 6 months now.

Please, check it out again, I am in the inside of the workplace! Im I right about the funktionality?, Could me trust that sign?

We found sessions as a breathe of hope and innovative tools in the area of videoconferencing white label technology and a great investment for the future , all that is blown out today with the important accouncement email sent by their founder RADU . Going a bit back to what happened few months ago where he raised the smartest funding method in the world using a message of empathy and urgency asking the first SESSIONS supporters ( Mainly those with a TIER 5 who paid more than 700 USD) to buy Tier 6 ( 750 USD) and TIER 7 ( 4150 USD). I already bought the TIER 5 on september 2023 so I was not ready to invest more.
What happened is that company pretends suffering financial issues but the reality is that they could have been investing in new product lines and preparng for the sale of SESSIONS videoconferencing for a big ITC cartle and the millions of USD collected from Appsumo platform would be a sorl of 0% interest refund once the sale transaction of the software is secured 100%. So they raised funding from their early supporteds to make Sessions Mature and more powerful but most importantly they might have secured a new product line under a diffrent brand and business name .Now, we need Appsumo to be accountable and firm not only by refunding its customers but also to negociate an extra compensation from Sessions team. Is is really hard to see that your 750 USD in blowing out in 1 year of time span but we bame APPSUMO for not comenting or showing its insurance and accountability as the problem has started a couple of months ago for many clients, for me this is the frst announcement I receive .

Access to the platform: The platform will remain live until December 27 for you to download your recordings and other data. Please ensure you retrieve any valuable information before this date.

Service changes: All other services, including videoconferencing, will stop functioning as of tomorrow.

Support: While we will monitor our community Slack channel (join here), response times may be delayed. We will do our best to assist where possible.

What happens next?
Our goals during this pause are to:

Secure financing to stabilize SESSIONS.

Adapt our strategy to fit the current market landscape.

Reignite growth, restore operations, and clear outstanding obligations.

How did we get here?
Our journey started with the vision of revolutionizing collaboration. We made significant progress, thanks to your support, but unfortunately ran out of funds before reaching market readiness.

Despite running out of funds in July, we:

Maintained platform functionality without shutting down or filing for insolvency.

Explored fundraising, partnerships, and even sale scenarios.

Operated without payroll, leading our team to pursue other opportunities while still helping sustain the platform.

Unfortunately, these efforts have not yet succeeded. To avoid a permanent shutdown, we are moving into conservation mode while we work toward a sustainable solution.

If you are owed a refund and have not received one through channels like AppSumo, we will do our best to honor it when we are financially stable again.

We will try our best to communicate properly but in the current situation, that might not be possible

I have written a short review already but now, I checked some details.
I ordered 3tier on Aug 2023. It's a little over a year.
If I knew earliesw, that they will be closing down - I could probably take my money back from PayPal presenting Session's correspondence (within 180 days).
I feel ripped off. Many of us will feel the same.
I wrote to AppSumo support as they sometimes have other means to solve the problem.
The whole situation destroys AppSumo presence too...
Honestly?
From now on, I will think 10 times before getting any deal again.
What a pity.

O sessions tinha tudo pra ser incrível, no início estava tudo funcionando bem, muitas atualizações semanais com objetivo de melhoria (pelo menos é o que parecia) depois começamos a receber emails de problemas financeiros da Startup e tentativas de venda de novas opções de TIERs para monetização.

No final das contas, o sentimento é que fomos enganados, mas acredito que vão fazer algo, não é possível que vão abandonar um projeto tão promssor
