The easiest way to build a website
We share this same sentiment as so many others, which you can find in the Reviews AND Questions here.
It's super shady to know that you're going to be dangling a bunch of new carrots in front of those Sumolings who supported you here, and then tell them they can have it for the "small monthly fee" of $139.90/month!!! that's insane! And you advertise this "Exclusive Sumoling" pricing on the billing page as if it's some special deal for sumolings when it's just your standard discounted "Annual" pricing amount... which actually shows up cheaper on you Pricing page, at $139.50 😝

We were excited for the future but it seems that this is just another AppSumo sunk cost, as we will no longer be using this tool.
I really regret buying this. The software is basically good for landing pages but it lacks any sort of content management...even basic things like having a universal header or footer for pages. And now I find out after spending $500 some dollars on Tier 5 you want me to pay another $95/month (which is going to go up in a few weeks) just to EXPORT and backup my websites? When some of your current functionality doesn't even work that well? No, no, no. Whoever came up with this idea needs to be fired.
I got it, you kept your pro plan the same.
The problem here is some essential tools (downloading websites) are locked behind a paywall. I think the issue here is just that, if a client wants to change agency, why should i pay an extra to let him do that? it is literally consumers right in lots of country to have the ability to change provider. I mean, me, the guy who made the website, should pay if my client wants to migrate?
I'll take the elite plan anyway, as they still mantained their promises. It's a great site builder (they managed to add lots of features after months). For everyone that is reviewing this product as scam, it is not. They gave you what they said.
Yeah, i am also pissed that i have to change to a "subscription based" plan as an early adopter (of tier 5, so you already got 400/500$ from me), and i agree that 50% discount is not the freshest discount for a guy that believed in you.
I may be more pissed for the paywalled essential features, as said, like website export and (you could argue, as i remember that they promise that) the billing for the client. My opinion here, from a consumer to a developer of the website, is trust. You broke that for lots of customers. And i get it, you can't keep up with "one-time" costs with something like that. But cmon, you clearly know where is the problem with this move, the trust of your customer.
Subscription based is a disease that the whole world has, and appsumo *should* be the place to avoid that.
I hope they move some essential feature to the pro back, then i'll change for the better this review.

I was trying to deploy my website, and to my surprise, the new custom domain section no longer allows me to choose options A and B for redirection. My only options are C and D, even though I'm on the max plan. Since my domain provider does not support the methods mentioned in C and D, it says that I need to contact Lindo support to get a new A record.
However, when I emailed them, they haven't replied to me for about two weeks now. I tried their chatbox, but it's just a templated AI response. I don't know where else to contact them as I need to deploy the website. I hope they will be able to fix their support team as I have high hopes for Lindo.
Otherwise, they should open options A and B for custom domains.
This company is 100% a bait and switch. I should have access to two websites per the AppSumo Tier 1 agreement, but whenever I try to do anything it prompts me to upgrade to the elite plan. They even changed the original website I created when I first was playing around with this product to be just a button to upgrade my plan.
Heed my warning: Do not do business with this company!
We all Sumo-Lings had high expectations of Lindo AI and invested our money in a product that, on paper, looked extremely promising.
Unfortunately, the platform proved to be what it is: limited, full of bugs, without a solid roadmap and with bland and spent updates. After almost 9 months, it still lacks basic tools of a proper editor for those working in this field.
And then the coup de grace: with a play on words, we were persuaded to buy an agency TIER, when it lacks everything an agency needs to work with clients-and these features are now offered with a recurring EXTRA plan, to take more money from us Sumo-Lings who despite everything, put our trust in the product and did not ask for a refund because we had believed these false promises.
Unfortunately, I feel I cannot recommend Lindo AI in any way.
(And you can also see this from the standard, detached message that the Lindo team is leaving to all the negative comments, posted by disappointed customers).
I had high expectations about this product though I was a bit nervous to invest 500$ to Lindo Ai and that's why I really thought through before purchasing the highest Tier 5. It seemed promising though quite unfinished product when I bought it.
It was not a problem for me to wait updates at that time, but still after 8 months basic but more refined editing possibilities are still missing - such as ability ability to edit font sizes, color schemes... + create templates and many more. Basic things that one need when designing sites for a client. Lindo Team really fooled us agencies to think that we as early adopters meant something to them and we could have the possibility to enjoy updates and features which they implied here in appsumo (for example AI-powered block generator, blocks, agency version...) - and also assured those features to be included to their deal (at least Tier 5).
And now suddenly I find my account to be an a lowest plan (?? what a joke) and feel pressured to buy monthly paid elite plan. They just wanted to collect our money and "And laugh on the way to the bank" as saying goes here in Finland.
Unfortunately, I Can't recommend Lindo (ai / team) in any way. How you can trust them after this?
I purchased the top tier plan because I believed this website builder would be an industry leader.
Imagine my shock when I opened an email from Lindo.ai saying I needed to pay an additional $99 a month or $199 a month if I didn't upgrade right away to get the features I was lead to believe I was getting in the first place!
My choices now are to give them more money when I can no longer trust them, when and what will the next "upsell" be, or to support a company I can trust and values it's clients?
I guess it's time to put all the Appsumo buyers out to pasture and move onto greener fields!
I paid $299 for Tier 3 and really looked forward to seeing what this app could do. Created my website--but guess what? I can't even view it, edit it, NOTHING because it's been DEACTIVATED until I UPGRADE TO PRO? I spent $299 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! If this isn't a TOTAL RIP-OFF, I don't know what is? You spend hard-earned money on software that doesn't even let you into the system. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this software before it eventually closes down from lack of service. I have had an account for a while, but only use it occasionally. Every time I try to log in it won't work with a microsoft login. I finally got an answer from Saeed after it eventually let me in after 2 weeks and I was able to contact for help. (There is nowhere to contact these guys if you cant log into the system.) Saeed said oh yes we have problems with Microsoft. Well then fix your problem or start refunding people on Appsumo. Tired of asking to get into software that i paid top tier for.

Unfortunately, my experience with Lindo.ai has been so disappointing that I feel obligated to share my perspective. The product, once available on AppSumo, has fallen far short of its initial promises.
Key features advertised during the campaign, such as exporting your entire website, utilizing an AI-powered block generator, will now be locked behind a paywall (Elite subscription). This is a blatant betrayal of the trust of customers who invested in this product based on those promises. A mere 50% discount on the Elite tier does not soften this blow, nor makes it attractive. We already payed for this product...
The slow update cycle leaves users waiting for essential features that hinder website creation. Additionally, many basic design features, like the ability to edit font sizes for example, remain missing. The sudden introduction of a seemingly forced subscription tier feels like a deceptive tactic to extract more money from loyal customers who backed this company on AppSumo.
I strongly advise anyone considering Lindo.ai to steer clear. This company has demonstrated a disregard for its customer base and a willingness to prioritize profit over delivering on its commitments and promises.
Such a disappointment and waste of time. I love Appsumo but please screen these money grabbing companies more thoroughly in the future. This is not healthy for your company either.
Like a previous person wrote on here. Lindo.ai, please make this right or give a refund.
