I have 15 + years of experience with project management software, from opensource to AI stuff etc. I disagree with some reviews that describe this as the best PM tool on the market. There are at least a couple others (not on AppSumo) that are much better and more efficient. The one I use for a big project has everything Nifty has and much more. However, the price of this other PM too is really quite steep.
With Nifty you get something that's 100% professional, for an unbeatable price, with a lot of stuff thrown in at no additional expense. I particularly like custom project fields with various types (budget, dropdown, number, URL, email, location, currency, checkbox, date, formula, user). You also get task automation,. Recurring tasks, time tracker, multiple tags, documents (simple markdown but useful), files, chat, connection to google drive, onedrive, github, gitlab, zoom... There are so many useful functions, for instance sharing tasks as a public link. And it's multilingual. Also regarding members, you can add as many guests as needed, they don't count as members. Some reviews have mentioned difficulty with support, I did not have to use support at any point in time because everything is rather clear and easy to use, if you read the manual.
As other as said the UX could be streamlined/polished. For instance, recurring tasks are a bit complicated to use, custom fields are not displayed nicely in the task itself, subtasks are too basic . For me, some concepts were a bit difficult to grasp initially (hello portfolio!) Also the "formula" system is too basic, you can't create a complex formula which would be awesome, Automation is a bit limited too, moving a task to another list/project takes too long. Also, the mobile app is not available when you are offline which is unfortunate when you are aboard a plane without wifi or in a remote place. I feel that this should be addressed because when you are mobile it often happens you get to internet access for a moment. Other PM software have offline app working fine. Finally, I regret that users without gmail or microsoft account can't be invited as guests .
In conclusion you can't go wrong with Nifty. The software value is immense considering the deal price. It's more than a bargain - it's steal.
