Start a newsletter without the usual hassles with SendFox
As a company in the hospitality industry operating on a B2B model, our marketing efforts rely heavily on direct client relationships and personal data collection rather than website-driven subscriptions, since we do not deal directly with consumers.
However, your platform continues to flag our campaigns as if we are sending emails outside of a subscription list. To clarify, the contacts we uploaded are legitimate clients from our system and established business connections, not publicly sourced or cold outreach.
Another concern is the restriction on deliverability. When open rates are low, your system prevents emails from reaching newly added contacts and only sends to those who have previously engaged. For a B2B company like ours, this significantly limits the purpose of using your service. If new, valid business contacts cannot receive our emails, then the tool does not serve its intended function for us.
Given that we have used the system for less than one month, and considering these limitations make it unsuitable for our business needs, I would like to request a refund.
Please refund as soon as possible. Thank you.
The lifetime deal is incredible. But there is a HUGE Catch.
The Email delivery system is EXTREMELY SLOW.
I have an automation where people signup and they get a Freebie in the email. The double opt-in email gets delivered quickly but the automation email after that take between minutes to hours to be delivered.
I read the reviews about slow delivery and ignored them because I thought I just send emails in the low hundreds per month. But nope, unfortunately you get what you pay for.
Ps. Apologies for using all caps at places, but I found it necessary.
SendFox is easy to use, and campaigns are straightforward to send.
However, the issue with having a list of, say, 180 people and yet the email only gets sent to 46 is extremely frustrating. Even if they all JUST joined from a giveaway. They're just dead leads.
Also, I've been using for a while and there have been no design-focused updates, which makes it less and less competitive as other email senders expand their offerings to understand that people rarely read emails these days if they aren't visually appealing. I would LOVE to see some increased user opportunity to add even simple design.
I like the pricing structure compared to others, though. I also like how you can categorize your audience.
Just had to share my amazing experience with SendFox! This platform is a game changer for email marketing. If you're looking to elevate your marketing efforts, I can't recommend SendFox enough. It's an absolute must-try!
Love the product, i wanted to go with Mailchimp.. But sendfox is so cheap, well build and used friendly. Setup in 10 minutes and start mailing!
Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to change the confirmation redirect URL for the double opt-in to a custom thank you page unless you upgrade to their Empire Add-On monthly subscription.
The default thank you page that subscribers see after verifying their email is filled with ads for their other products.
This is disappointing, as they essentially force you to upgrade to the Empire Add-On by imposing this limitation.
The automations are very simple and linear, with no capability to add conditionals.
Additionally, there is no tag system for users, forcing all segmentation to be done via Lists, which becomes inconvenient for complex segmentation needs.
I was hoping to use this tool for my projects, but with these conditions it is basically useless for my needs.
This app is a catastrophe waiting to destroy your domain reputation.
Their automation has no "start" button. If you make even a small mistake, like adding the wrong list, or something goes wrong during testing, your emails go to the full subscriber lists without you having the chance to stop it.
I've been using SendFox recently, and while it offers a straightforward way to manage email campaigns, I found its user interface to be quite clunky and not very intuitive. Navigating through the platform can sometimes feel cumbersome, which slows down workflow. Additionally, the feature set appears somewhat limited compared to other email marketing tools, lacking advanced options that many users might expect. Overall, SendFox may suit those with simple needs, but for more robust campaigns, you might find yourself wishing for more polished UI and richer features.
The platform looks promising at first, but it’s basically useless. My emails constantly sit in “Optimized” status and NEVER get sent. What’s the point of scheduling or drafting campaigns if they just get stuck in limbo forever?
Support is unresponsive or gives copy-paste answers that don’t solve anything. I’ve wasted time, money, and trust on this tool. It’s beyond frustrating and completely unreliable if you're trying to run a serious business.
Avoid SendFox at all costs. There are better platforms out there that actually work.
This service is a disappointment all around. Very rudimentary setup and capabilities and their support team is very unhelpful. They do reply within 24 hours, which is standard, but if you have followup questions, they simply send the same canned reply back from their first interaction. They clearly outsource support to a 3rd party that is following scripts and is not helpful to the consumer. If you want a rudimentary platform that is cheaper than others, could be a good starting point for you. Just don't expect good support.
Send Fox has heaps of potential. Except, they've got no plans to add on features,. I reached out and asked and there are no plans for improving features, I was on Empire. So, if you're thinking of getting Send Fox with the hope that they add features, then don't bother. You either want the limited features and don't need anything else or go with another option.
