Revolutionize Your SEO Efforts with Squirrly SEO
While the tool itself its good and have all that a SEO tool needs, its way wayyyyy to confusing in the layout that I had to sell it. Too bad since its nice. Currently using SEO Press that is miles ahead in terms of UX and UI.
Don't buy it; it's terrible! It's been more than a year, and it's worthless. The features are poor and not worth using.
Blown away buy this software! I do not leave many reviews but had to leave a review about Squirrly SEO. This product will blow you away if you are a sole developer or a large agency. It has an easy to navigate GUI. It was designed with so much thought about the wide range between the sole developer and agencies, the beginner SEO person and the seasoned pro. A wide range of tools and Wordpress integration. The novice SEO person will enjoy it's ability to get you going in the right direction with little or no knowledge about SEO and give you the tools to educate yourself in the process wile increasing your ranking. Agencies will enjoy it's Expert Mode, custom branding feature and the great tools. You have 60 days to try it. Get it now. No Joke! And no, I was not paid or given free software to review this product. This is me being me. Giving credit where credit is due.
I’ve only been using the platform for a few days and software itself has great features which have me excited to replace other tools I use currently (RankMath etc)
However the interface really is cluttered with “learn more” widgets that have no way of being removed / hidden.
Also there seems to be promotional popups for their website hosting service which is distracting as well and seems to keep reappearing every so often…
And the duplication of the Squirrly Wordpress menu navigation right next to the same navigation options INSIDE of the Squirrly windows (for those accessing it in Wordpress) is a UX / UI mystery as to why this can't be removed...
But at the minimum, I’m hoping I can find a way to hide the various "learn more" widgets and dashboard tips from clients to avoid their overwhelm. Basically hide everything but the Post / Page analysis tool from them. Doesnt seem to be an option in the settings.
Hopefully this can be cleaned up to truly make this software the industry leader it deserves to be! :-)
I'm new to the whole SEO thing and had been dragging my feet to get started on any SEO tool but the high number of 5 star reviews convinced me to hop on board, and I'm glad I did. It was so easy to add my website and search for associated keywords. I got excited when the tool said 'Very high ranking chance' within a couple minutes of trying for the first time.
Thanks Squirrly, and Appsumo!
I have been using this for about a week now and it does seem to be helping. I have struggled with SEO for a while and squirrly has definitely helped make more sense of things.
It takes some time to understand how to use it, I still don’t really get it. But they color code steps or tasks to help know what needs to be done and sometimes even simple ways how to do it.
I am looking forward to learning how to use it even more.
We've been using the free version of Yoast for a decade, we have multiple websites so the price of upgrading to Yoast premium is very expensive, and always kept us on the free version. Squirrly SEO offered a much more affordable option on Appsumo so we went ahead and tried it out.
First thoughts were it felt very different to Yoast, and initially I struggled to navigate their website, tutorials, help etc and work out where everything was. But don't let that put you off, if you invest a bit of time, you can quickly start to understand where everything is. I had an issue with a purchase on their website, and their help were quick to respond to my email within about 2-3 hours, and gave me an in-depth instruction of how to claim the credits.
Once you spend the time to figure everything out, it's a brilliant tool to have. Everything makes sense from an SEO strategy point of view. I have a medium knowledge of SEO, and after a few months I find the software both logical and easy to use.
After using it for a few months, I upgraded and purchased further licences to increase the keyword search and focus pages. I'm also interested in the other software that the company offers. It's too early to say for sure, but it appears to be a progressive company with an owner who is involved in pushing things forwards and trying to bring in cutting edge software and tools. So far this has been one of my better purchases on Appsumo. 5 Tacos for my experience so far.
The SEO tool I've been trying to find for months as I start my agency venture. All the bells and whistles and couldn't be happier with the LTD.
I often get overwhelmed by SEO and have used some in the past that have been helpful but Squirrly is by far the most helpful. The ability to do keyword research AND help improve posts is fantastic.
I'm just getting started improving my SEO, and know very little about it, but Squirrly SEO has been great explaining everything to me. I'm really enjoying it and getting much more excited about creating new posts on my blog. Well done, team!
I’ve been using All In One SEO and Yoast for years, and I thought I’d give this tool a try, especially with all the positive reviews I’ve seen. After purchasing and exploring the tool, the major issue is the user experience. The flow is confusing and not user-friendly at all; it’s overwhelming with information and lacks simplicity. This is a significant drawback for me, as I prefer something straightforward that works, not something complicated that wastes my time.
I tried focus on pages for two pages on this tool, where the same pages have SEO scores over 90 in both Yoast and All In One SEO, but this tool marked these pages in red, indicating that the SEO is poor, even though I rank in the top three for these pages haha so how is that possible?? This is another area where I find it hard to trust the tool.
Overall, I’m disappointed and will likely seek a refund.
Certainly! Here's a refined version of your writing:
Today, I decided to give Squirrly another try, hoping to integrate it into my content creation services for clients. Unfortunately, I've found that Squirrly still suffers from feature overload, with a cluttered and confusing interface.
I realize I'm in the minority with this opinion, but the Squirrly interface hasn't improved since I first used it three years ago. Why did I rate it only one star? Because its SEO workflow feels increasingly counter-intuitive, cumbersome, and confusing. Instead of optimizing my keywords into briefcases and focusing my blogs on specific pages, I now rely on AI tools like SEOwriting.AI and Neuronwriter, which easily integrate with WordPress.
This is why I continue to use Rankmath Pro. Its interface is simple and straightforward, allowing me to manage my SEO content creation workflow efficiently without the hassle of adding keywords to briefcases or using additional features.
My suggestion for the developers: find a way to seamlessly incorporate content creation with other tools like SEOwriting.AI and Neuronwriter. It should be easy to import NLP keywords from Neuronwriter into Squirrly's briefcase. Additionally, allow bulk importing into folders based on blog post titles. It's frustrating to manually place a keyword into a briefcase, then insert it into my post.
Lastly, there are too many pop-ups, links, and unnecessary features in Squirrly that clutter the UI. I would appreciate an option to disable them. With the rise of AI and various tools, it's crucial for developers to streamline the interface and integrate AI solutions like Neuronwriter, which has become essential for optimizing my blog content.
So I urge that the developer take my suggestions as positive criticism. I really want to uses the tool. I really want to use as part of my SEO workflow. But the cluttered UI, time-consuming content optmization workflow, and the lack of integration with other tools such as Neuronwriter is what is holding me back from using this tool to the fullest.
